Nicole Richie and Ashlee Simpson saw each other while indulging in a little shoe shopping at Barneys yesterday afternoon before Nicole headed off on her own to house hunt while Joel is on tour. The new mom and mom-to-be have more in common than ever these days and went on a double date with their rocker boys back in April when Ashlee's baby bump was still a question mark. Now she's so big and can get even more mommy advice from her starlet friend. As for the house hunt, Nicole and Joel are looking for a new place, but no matter where in LA it is, they won't be too far from their friends' new addition and possible future playmate for adorable Harlow.

Britney Spears was looking great out in LA on Wednesday between trips to the gym, recording studio, and dinners out. It's not always four-star restaurants for Britney who gushed about cooking for her boys in the down to earth OK! Magazine interview, which was a highlight of our week. We loved hearing from a smooth sailing and happy Brit, but unfortunately the same can't be said for Jamie Lynn. The little Spears sister has been dealing with the rumors of her fiancé’s infidelities this week. The silver lining is that Casey is denying the affair, but maybe Brit can teach her younger sis that she doesn't need a man to make her excited and happy about the future.

The adorable couple announced back in May that they were planning to get married now that it's legal in California, and apparently the ladies are preparing to walk down the aisle this weekend! The ceremony will be small and the newlyweds will celebrate with their closest friends and family. We can't wait to hear about all the details, but congratulations to the happy and soon-to-be married couple!

The trio took a stroll through some nearby fields yesterday, looking ready to face the strong winds in their layers and long sleeves. The Parker-Broderick clan seems to be united despite the rumors of Matthew's infidelity that emerged last month, so hopefully they can rise above all that especially with little James Wilkie to keep the family close.

The men of Tropic Thunder paid a visit to TRL yesterday afternoon, showing off their comedic skills for a slightly younger audience. The trio made us all laugh during their MTV Movie Awards skit, so they're more than in with the MTV set — you know, beyond the fact that they're major movie stars. From there, it was group date night out at the Waverly Inn, joined by Ben's wife Christine Taylor. The boys' movie hit theaters yesterday and while it's been boycotted by some, it's also getting pretty good reviews, including from Buzz! Not winning quite as many raves? RDJ's mustache.
