The 2008 VMAs continue to creep closer, and for the second year in a row, Britney Spears is in the middle of the buzz. After last year's disastrous performance, it seems that she's getting a second chance even if she doesn't take the stage. Not only has she become a face of the VMAs with her cute promos, but now she's been nominated for Best Video of the Year, which puts her up for three awards total. Selma Blair looked less than thrilled to model this latest pink sensation and a unique yellow top with some silly matching accessories on set in LA yesterday. I will say even if she isn't loving the requisite weight gain and not fitting into her clothes for the role, she still looks pretty great in that bathing suit. Selma may not be full of laughs on set in next to nothing, but we're all excited for her to bring the hilarity to the small screen this Fall.

Leonardo DiCaprio had a boys' day with Lukas Haas and Rick Salomon, hitting up the Prada store. While Lukas is Leo's constant companion, his other good friend and co-star Kate Winslet recently talked about what it was like to get back to work with him on the set of Revolutionary Road. When asked about doing a sex scene with her husband directing, she said, "I just kept saying, 'This is too . . . weird.' And Leo was like, 'Oh, get over it.' And I'm going, 'Yeah, a little reminder: You're my best friend. He's my husband. This is a bit weird.'" Kate also said that she and Leo quickly found their Titantic chemistry again, so we'll look forward to seeing the BFFs reunited on the big screen in January.
Katie Holmes had a very special companion for her morning walk to rehearsal today — her husband Tom Cruise. The actor finally joined his girls in NYC, and it looks like it immediately put a smile on recently slightly gloomy Katie's face. She also left Tom's jeans for him to wear as the duo grasped hands for the stroll.
