Showtime Plants More Weeds, Spins Off the L Word
Fresh from TCA: The network is working on a spinoff of The L Word (but wouldn't say which character will be the focus), has ordered two additional seasons of Weeds, will have a documentary show called Lock 'n Load about a gun store in Colorado, and has picked up the Edie Falco series tentatively titled Nurse Jackie.
Tobey Maguire had the two ladies of his life — wife Jennifer and their 20-month-old daughter Ruby Sweetheart — by his side for a day out at an LA park on Thursday. Their family is all about their jungle gym time and it looks like Ruby is turning into a playground pro. Tobey seems to be really into jumping around the gym as well. Hopefully Ruby will be able to show some of her younger celebrity baby friends the ropes when it comes time for them to try the swings too.
At the TCAs this morning the exciting CW panel kicked off with 90210 news that is making us psyched to tune in. Turns out Shannen Doherty will be back as Brenda Walsh! She will guest star as the director of West Beverly's musical production in multiple episodes. As the producer made the announcement the cast was surprised and thrilled with the news.
