Jennifer Aniston epitomized beautiful breezy Summer out shopping for furniture in West Hollywood yesterday afternoon before going out to dinner with some friends in Hollywood. It's pretty amazing how much more we've been seeing of Jen these days after years of her perfecting the art of laying low — wonder if her new media-friendly man actually has anything to do with that. Even with silly wedding and baby rumors circulating and denied, Aniston had a smile on her face. With John on the East Coast touring until the end of the month, this California girl looks perfectly happy flying solo for a bit — though I must admit that I'd love to hear about her being back in the wings snapping photos soon too.

It was ladies' night at the Rockefeller Center Loft and Garden with cocktail dresses and hot shoes galore. Piaget hosted the Limelight Paris-New York jewelry collection for the beautiful familiar faces including Maggie Gyllenhaal, Liv Tyler, Emmy Rossum and an extra light haired looking Leighton Meester. At the party Leighton talked about feeling comfortable but a little bit sexy as well as revealing some about her new royal Gossip Girl love interest. With the jewels on display and all these pretty ladies to admire them, looks like a shining night in the muggy Manhattan Summer.

It was just another day in the NYC neighborhood for Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise. The fashionista-in-training was a bit overdressed for the park but she sure looked stylish on that swing in her mom's lap. Suri was a polka-dotted princess who also shared the slide with Katie as well. This daily routine is beginning to remind us of another favorite celebrity mommy-daughter duo that spent last year doing the exact same thing — Broadway bound and park playtime.

Jay-Z got all fancied up in a suit and tie yesterday to help NYC Mayor Bloomberg announce that Park Avenue will be closed to cars for a few hours on the next three Saturdays in Manhattan. Maybe Jay will take advantage of the special opportunity and have a romantic stroll with Beyonce this weekend — but don't expect him to gush about it afterwards. He recently talked to Vibe magazine about why he doesn't want to open up about his supposed wedding to Beyonce, saying, "I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself. You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you. I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to." Even if we never get to hear all the details about their wedding, for now we'll settle for seeing the couple happily sporting their rings.
