Britney Spears looked back to her old self yesterday, flashing a huge grin shopping on Robertson before slipping into a tiny purple tube top for dinner at the Little Door restaurant. Her getaway in Cabo must have been good for her tan and her soul, but Britney wants to give her bank account a boost, too. Not only is she rumored to have been offered a role playing a lesbian stripper in Quentin Tarantino's next movie, a remake of Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, but apparently she's also been trying to shop around staged photos of herself frolicking around Mexico in that hot white bikini for $1 million. Britney's rep has claimed that she hasn't given anyone permission to sell her vacation photos, but all her posing for the fancy camera might suggest otherwise.

Just one night after her big Vicky Cristina Barcelona premiere in LA, Penelope Cruz was in another long black dress for the Elegy screening in NYC last night. She left the rest of her gorgeous costars, including Javier, behind for this one, but had plenty of glamorous party friends. Peter Sarsgaard had his costar and friend Patricia Clarkson filling in while Maggie was elsewhere. Love me some Gerard Butler, but he could use a little work on those red carpet poses. This looks like another intense one from Miss Cruz, though considering her other release this summer involves a love scene with Scarlett, I'm guessing whatever happens on the big screen with Ben Kingsley in this movie won't be making as many headlines.

She's already got style to spare, but Fall will be here before we know it, which means time to start stocking up on the latest trends. A new wardrobe isn't as much fun as wedding dress shopping would be, but unfortunately that might not be happening as early as we'd like.

It was only a matter of time before the wedding rumors started for Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer. While he recently opened up and started talking about his girlfriend at his concerts, we're not so sure this hot couple will actually be walking down the aisle anytime soon. OK! Magazine seems to differ, and apparently has all the details. This weekend's issue dishes on her Vera Wang gown, their Greek honeymoon, and of course, the matron of honor Courteney Cox. It all sounds so amazing, and we'd love to see the pictures of this amazing event. But to be more realistic, we'll get excited about the fact that Jen is holding a script from CAA, so hopefully her agents have found her a great job and we'll see her back at work soon.

It was just yesterday that we were wondering when we'd get a glimpse of Suri in NYC, and here she is! Majority of you are loving Katie's new shorter 'do, but now Suri isn't matching her mama anymore. The littlest Cruise spent the afternoon in the park with Katie after her morning rehearsals, and from the looks of it, she had no problem marching her mom around Manhattan with her blankie and bottle. Suri is growing up fast for sure, and before we know it she'll be riding those swings all on her own.

The party rolled on for George Clooney, Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, and friends, now yachting around in gorgeous Sardinia, Italy. While his production company is busy making deals, George has been living the good life with his friends between shirtless weekends drinking wine with Bono and docking for a glamorous night on the town. This time, instead of those abs, Clooney showed off his guns under his Italia jersey. Now, I just wonder if while Rande and Cindy are having their lovey time, Clooney gets a little lonely with no special lady. Aw, who am I kidding? There are a few (million) women who would be happy to take that spot.

After spending their Monday lounging poolside, Samantha and Lindsay continued their Floridian vacation with a stroll and lunch in Miami Beach yesterday. Apparently the girls are in town to visit with Sam's extended family, and there's been plenty of PDA to go around during the trip. Even if the girls don't have a wedding in the works, it sounds like Lindsay has already been welcomed into the Ronson clan as one of their own.
