Shia LaBeouf stepped out of the hospital in LA today to take a walk and unwind with a cigarette. This hasn't been his best week, but at least his friends and family still have his back as the media continues to speculate about his possible DUI. While we definitely don't condone his behavior if he was drinking and driving, it's hard not to feel sorry for the guy when his arm is all bandaged up like that. Knowing how serious Shia is about his career, he must be embarrassed about all the publicity and eager to get back to work and leave the drama behind him.

How-To: Get Kate Beckinsale's Alluring Hair Last night at the Allure party for Victoria Beckham, actress Kate Beckinsale arrived wearing her hair in a casual, low-slung bun with delicate braids weaved throughout. What a cool twist! Even though Kate wears hair extensions, (oh, c'mon, like you really couldn't tell by now), the best part about this look is that you don't need to have a lot of hair — or even thick hair — to re-create this style.
After doing a little exploring in her NYC neighborhood, Katie Holmes kept on her comfy jeans for acting class yesterday afternoon. This morning in stripes, she stopped by for rehearsal at the theater to gear up for her September Broadway debut. While all eyes are on Katie and her next few projects, the future of Tom's big movie Valkyrie still seems up in the air. At least one of the movie's costars came forward to deny the claims that the film's multiple delays are a terrible sign. We'll have to wait and see on that, but until then we've got Mrs. Cruise to take the stage and small screen (and hopefully some Suri in the big city) to keep us entertained.
Britney Spears showed off her blue bag outside the hair salon in LA yesterday. While the pop star was getting pampered, the court ruled that Jamie Spears will retain conservatorship over her life and assets until Dec. 31. Most of you agree that Britney still needs her father's supervision, but it could be just a few more months before she's back on her own two feet — apparently her doctors and Jamie will most likely try to end the conservatorship in a court hearing on Oct. 28.
Megan Fox spent her day off catching up on her reading and babysitting for boyfriend Brian Austin Green's son, Kassius. She and the rest of the cast of Transformers 2 are enjoying a break in shooting while costar Shia recovers from surgery and his big car crash. At least when he returns to the set, he'll have plenty of support — director Michael Bay has already spoken out on his behalf, saying that he doesn't believe Shia was drunk when the car flipped and that the production team is working on adding his injury to the film as his two fingers are "badly mashed." He also went on to say that Shia has a great head on his shoulders and that he loves working with him, so hopefully Shia will get the same encouragement from Megan and the rest of the cast when he's finally ready to head back to the set.
