Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, spotted sneaking out of Green Door in LA on Tuesday night! OMG you guys! When I saw that hot, hot Ryan Gosling showed off his new DJ skills at the club, I was reasonably interested, but when I read that he had a very, very special guest in the audience — his ex Rachel — I was through the roof. Their breakup was by far the most shocking split of 2007 (full disclosure, we watch the most incredible video clip ever all the time) and seeing them back together, even if it's nothing romantic, is amazing. Be still my heart. Supposedly she was just there to support a friend, but is it so wrong to want it to be so much more? This is the perfect way to brighten up our Thursday morning; hope it does the same for you.
Jamie Spears's conservatorship over Britney is under review in court today, and rumor has it that he'll be staying in control. He was put in charge Feb. 1, and since then things finally started going in the right direction for Britney including settling the custody dispute for now. After six months, Brit finally seems to be making the right decisions. For example, even when Sam Lutfi's restraining order expires today, she wants nothing to do with him. At some point, Britney is going to have to be in charge of her own life again both financially and personally, but it looks like today is not that day. Adrian Grenier was all smiles taking a stroll through LA with his girlfriend Isabel Lucas by his side yesterday. Looks like Isabel is feeling fine after riding shotgun during her Transformers 2 costar Shia LaBeouf's scary car accident this weekend. Adrian assured us that all is fine with his girl Isabel, saying, "She's okay, we're good. This is not the time for an interview." Shia seems to be in enough hot water as is, but maybe this means he won't have to answer to an angry Adrian in addition to the police.
Back in LA after their trip around the world promoting The Dark Knight Christian Bale and his wife Sibi grabbed lunch with friends in LA yesterday. While Mr. Bale has politely declined answering any questions about his recent legal trouble, he has always been happy to gush about his costar Heath and it's sweet to see him having a moment to relax after the media onslaught. (Though I have to say, getting to see his beautiful daughter Emmeline has been a real treat.) With his Batman breaking records all over the place and possibly poised to overtake Titanic as the highest grossing movie ever, Christian deserves a red carpet break . . . because seriously before we even know it, he'll be hitting the red carpet for Terminator Salvation next Summer.
Celebaby Style: Wyatt Crow Rocker mama Sheryl Crow couldn't have asked for a better looking stud to pal around with. Her main man Wyatt Crow is turning into quite a looker with chubby lil cheeks, knowing eyes, and sandy blond hair. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this little boy was a clone of his adoring mommy.
Jennifer Aniston looked absolutely perfectly summery out shopping at Barneys in LA yesterday afternoon, but her hometown isn't the only place where she's a natural fit. John Mayer's friends say that his gorgeous girlfriend is the perfect addition on the tour bus and, "Everyone really loves her." She's got fans all over the place it sounds like — during John's shows, fans can text into a number and get their messages up on the big screen and apparently more than a few concertgoers have requested Aniston to come out on stage with her man. How fun would that be? Talk about getting more for your money from those tickets.
Mary-Kate Olsen looked like she stepped straight out of the early '90s on Tuesday, heading to the Neil George salon with a flannel shirt wrapped around her waist. She's always been in the know about style and while plaid is back in a big way, we're not so sure about those gladiator sandals. On the bright side, she and Ashley look gorgeous on the newly revealed cover of their coffee table book, Influence that will be released this Fall.
