J Lo is looking fit as ever these days while in training for her triathlon, but this famous multitasker has another project on her plate too. Jennifer just signed on for a new romantic comedy, The Governess. While some of her movies (cough, El Cantante) haven't been amazing, she's been known to make some cute lighthearted fare in the past. Ryan Gosling looked smokin' as he enjoyed a protein shake on the way out of 24 Hour Fitness in LA yesterday. Seems like he's pretty dedicated to keeping those big guns of his in shape with weight training. Whether Ryan is beefing up for a role or just wants to keep looking sexy in those t-shirts, no complaints here about a guy who understands the importance of sharing his manjoyment with the world. Now we'll just give him the benefit of the doubt that he really is single and the hand-holding we saw him doing recently was all innocent, since apparently the woman in question is married.

After a long weekend of bikini dancing and cigarettes in the pool, Britney Spears, George Maloof, and their friends hopped on the private jet and left Cabo yesterday afternoon. It's back to LA life for Britney, who still should be riding high from her VMA nomination, so hopefully Kevin's not the only one with nothing to complain about. Britney may have something else to celebrate soon too — according to OK! Magazine, Jamie Lynn is planning on getting married before the end of the year with her big sister Brit as the maid of honor. With a couple of weddings of her own under her belt, Britney should be just the woman for the job.

Patrick Dempsey spent some one-on-one time with his shiny Mercedes convertible on Monday, taking it for a spin around Beverly Hills. We're sure he's been enjoying the Summer with his family between work on the set of Grey's Anatomy, but is still making sure not to neglect the other loves in his life: his toys. With all the drama surrounding the fate of Izzie Stevens for next season, we're just glad that Patrick and his McDreaminess are here to stay — at least for now.
