Was It a Good Idea For the Models to Buy Fabrics on Behalf of the Designers? For the first time in Project Runway history, the designers were not allowed to purchase their own fabrics. Gasp! Instead, the models they picked at the start of the episode did the shopping for them. And they weren't allowed to buy just any fabric; it had to be environmentally friendly. While some designers were impressed by their models' selections, others were stumped and unable to use most of what was in front of them.
Rachel Bilson loves her dog and loves to shop — so when those two things come together, it sounds like a pretty good day in her book. She took Thurman Murman to a LA pet store yesterday, and on top of getting a bag full of treats, it looks like he also made a new friend. We think Rachel always looks adorable when she's out running errands solo, but when she's joined by Thurman it's almost a cute overload.

Nick had her hand and apparently all her things as he escorted her around town. The newlyweds just added another commitment to their itinerary as Mariah is set to perform at Fashion Rocks. She also says that she's gearing up for an elaborate tour to kick off this Winter. I think it's safe to assume that Mr. Mariah Carey will be there cheering his wife on the whole time as he's proven himself happy to do these days.

It wouldn't be an afternoon with Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt if there weren't some PDA, as the couple demonstrated yesterday with hugs and kisses while looking at multi-million dollar properties in Malibu. Spencer only just moved back into their Hollywood apartment — according to the trailer for season 4 of The Hills — but now that these two are raking in the dough it looks like they're ready to upgrade their real estate. Earlier in the day, Spencer swung by a newsstand to pick up two bagfuls of magazines. Preparing some plane reading for the long flight to Iraq, perhaps?
Dustin Diamond seems like he'll do anything for a little money, from last year's sex tape scandal to his newest project, a tell-all book detailing what it was really like behind the scenes on the set of Saved by the Bell. It will be called Behind the Bell and it promises to disclose the "sexual escapades among cast members, drug use, and hardcore partying." Could be interesting, but we're not sure we really care about the scandalous things the kids from Bayside High got up to. So tell us — would you read Dustin Diamond's tell-all?
