Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 39th birthday in NYC last night out on a date with Marc to catch the Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights. After the show, the very special guests ducked backstage to meet and pose with the cast of the show, which takes place not too far from where Jenny from the block grew up in South Bronx. Of course J Lo looked fabulous, and what else could we expect from the triathelete in training? But luckily we know she made some time for vacation and bikinis with the babies recently too. So happy birthday to the glowing mama, who after a night on the town gets the best present of all: coming home to her little Max and Emme.

Halle Berry didn't lose her baby weight overnight like some celebrity moms seem to, but after giving birth just four months ago she's looking as hot as ever. While she still sports baggy clothes from time to time, she's already posed in a bikini and once again she strutted her stuff in a tight red top on her way to a friend's house in LA yesterday. It's clear that Halle is beautiful — now all we need is a closer look at little Nahla!

After a quick trip to Paso Robles for a show on Wednesday, John Mayer was back in LA yesterday stopping by one of his favorite places, the camera store. After picking up some new pieces for his gadget collection, John was off for LA fun — including a visit to his girl Jennifer Aniston's place? Or maybe it was another date with his buddy Pete Wentz who was once again gushing about John on his blog. He's got Friday night off, but tomorrow it's up to Marysville for the next stop to show off those pipes.

David Beckham and his MLS All Star teammates hit the field in Toronto last night for their big game against England's West Ham. It was an exciting match, but the MLS team reigned victorious winning 3-2. Becks had an assist in the game and of the game he said, "I'd read about the last five years not losing so I was kind of nervous and hoping that we would win. As soon as we started I knew we were capable of winning it because of the quality we've got in the team." Watching from the stands was Canada native — and of course one of our favorites — Rachel McAdams! Lucky girl getting to watch the game and, ahem, especially the Becks manjoyment.

Jessica Simpson changed out of her hot red dress and into a confusing tight black one — hope it's not part of her new collection? — out in NYC with her mom Tina last night. Apparently this is a slimmed down version of the entourage she was rolling with at her commercial shoot earlier in the day, which naturally included little Daisy and her LV carrier and a handful of others. Even just down to two Simpson ladies, Jess and Tina look like a couple of kittens out on the town.

The Gossip Girl kids got back to work in NYC yesterday steaming up the already hot Manhattan summer. Adorable puppy Penny stole the show between takes as usual while Blake looked a little concerned on her phone call. Lucky for her, she always has her man Penn close by at work. Recent birthday boy Chace may not have gotten all the presents he wanted, but working with beautiful women can't be a bad consolation prize. Leighton wasn't there for this shoot, but we were lucky enough to catch up with her in LA last week to chat about her crazy year and adorable fashion sense. Even without everyone there, thanks to those racy ads we know all our upper east siders will get into scandal when the show comes back for season two.
