Update: TMZ reports that Shia was arrested on suspicion of DUI late last night after making an illegal left hand turn in Hollywood, hitting another car and rolling his own. He was taken to the hospital where he will remain to get surgery on his hand.
Shia LaBeouf took advantage of his day off from working on Transformers 2 on Thursday to run a couple of errands. After a stop at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, he picked up lunch at Carney's before putting some gas in his truck — probably a slightly more expensive endeavor than filling up his motorcycle. Shia wasn't shy about showing his face to photographers on his outing, which is good news for us, since we love a little weekend manjoyment.
Ashlee Simpson accompanied her breakfast with a healthy apple juice out with Pete Wentz in LA on Friday morning. The two looked perfectly dressed the part — she in a maxi dress he in skinny jeans — for their day out before baby makes three. Whether or not these two are having a boy or a girl (conflicting reports leave that up for debate), one thing is for sure. The little one will certainly have a variety of hair styling products to choose from once he or she is old enough.
Happy new dad Matthew McConaughey was out for his usual jog in LA on Friday morning. Earlier this week we loved our first peek at little Levi Alves McConaughey, and Matthew and Camila opened up to OK! Magazine about much more including, of course, surfing. Here are highlights:
Camila on if they planned the pregnancy: "It was not an accident."
Matthew: "I was an accident! Levi was not."
Matthew on how Camila told him she was pregnant: "She came home and said, 'I think you may want to open your best bottle of wine. I have a card for you.' We sat down. There was an ultrasound picture in the card. He was just a little tadpole. . . I had tears of joy and was not shocked or surprised, just overwhelmed. My first words were, 'It's a boy,' and without thinking, she said, 'I know.'"
Matthew on if he'll take Levi surfing: "He'll be surfing next weekend. I can't wait to get him out there. All the new sights and sounds and smells are so great around here."
On Friday, the rumor surfaced that Lauren Conrad doesn't have as much to do with the design process on her clothing line as she claims and that someone else has been doing the work LC takes credit for. Lauren was quick to respond saying,
"I've been involved in this entire process, every single step of the way. I have wanted to be a fashion designer since I was a little girl. I grew up designing and sewing dresses for my barbie dolls, and the Lauren Conrad Collection has been my dream come true."
LC talked to us about how much the line means to her. Plus, we've all seen her taking promoting the line very seriously and going to fashion school on The Hills, but rumors are rumors. So, do you believe Lauren Conrad about being involved with every step of her clothing line?
Julia Roberts and Danny Moder didn't hold back on the PDA-fest waiting for their car from the valet after a romantic lunch in LA earlier this week. While we're not sure about pairing a hot orange Birkin with a pink cardigan, it's cute to see them cherishing their alone time without their three little kids. Since Julia was busy working on Duplicity for so many months, we're sure they savor those moments more than ever.
