Madonna stepped out of her apartment in NYC yesterday to run some errands between rehearsal time. In the midst of the neverending drama the past week, there is a little bit of fun Madonna news to get excited about. Her rep has confirmed the rumors that Britney Spears will appear on Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour in a video performance to air during the show. Brit will shoot her portion within the next weeks, and apparently it was Madonna herself who asked Britney to participate. Sounds like Madonna is making good on her desires to help save Britney — so are you excited that Britney is going to be a part of Madonna's show?

Out of the bat suit and into something a little more dapper, Christian Bale makes scruffy look sexy on the cover of the August issue of GQ UK. With The Dark Knight's release date just over a week away, he's got plenty to say about the film, but also shows us more of the man behind the latest caped crusader. Here are highlights:

- On how his wife handles how he embodies the roles he plays: "Well, she gets to sleep with a whole bunch of different men, so maybe it's not so bad for my wife. And she does it without having to feel guilty!"
- On being a father: "The time I spend with my daughter is just incredible. She's a little rascal. I'm not going to miss her growing up for anything, not even for Batman. I'm certainly not going to be one of those fathers who picks up a photo of his daughter and has regrets about not being around."
- On doing risky stunts even though he has a family to think about: "People will say, Why is he still doing this crazy sh*t?' But I'm OK with that. I'd like my daughter to see me do these things, as I saw my father do some crazy things and learnt to appreciate it. My philosophy isn't so much, 'Do what I do.' It's more, 'Whatever you do, do it completely. Don't do it half-arsed. Do it more than anybody else would.'"

Heidi Klum took a page out of Victoria Beckham's style guide, slipping into some baggy men's jeans for an afternoon of errands in NYC. Seal may be overseas at the moment, but Heidi still keeps her husband close to her at all times (plus a little bit of Leni with her blue hairclip). Casual Heidi is almost as familiar as seeing her all red carpet ready, but between that garment bag and Intermix loot, it looks like she has something more glamorous in case she needs a costume change along the way.

We've seen this loving couple hit the courts to show off their skills and, of course, affection, but this time it was the kids' turn to play. While most of you thought it was too soon for Kate and Lance to be meeting each other's kids, from the looks of it Lance's twin girls are warming up to Dad's newest girlfriend already.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are still in London, including a dinner out last night at Scott's. The duo was joined by Jake's Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time producer Jerry Bruckheimer, though they left the restaurant separately trying to escape the paparazzi. Jake was still showing off that long hair for the movie — though these pics aren't quite as fun as seeing him prance around on a horse prepping for the role. Next stop is Morocco in bringing this video game to life, which sounds like the perfect location for Reese to tag along for a little vacation with Jake.
