Matthew McConaughey took a break from baby duty to check out the Malibu surf on Saturday. While his wetsuit only allowed for a small peek at those manjoyable abs, luckily there is tons of footage of the tan, muscular, shirtless actor in his new movie trailer for Surfer, Dude. It feels like we spent all last Summer watching Matthew film the movie about a surfer suffering an existential life crisis in those signature board shorts. From the light hearted looks of it, we're thinking MM spent more effort showing off his serious surfing skills than his acting ones this time around.

Christian Bale was arrested for assault in London today, after allegedly lashing out at his mother and sister Sunday night before Monday's British Dark Knight premiere. Following the supposed incident at Park Lane's Dorchester Hotel where Christian was staying, his mother and sister brought the accusations to the Hampshire police station who referred it to the London police. The police held off on arresting him until today and although Bale remains in custody he has not been formally charged.

Update: Christian has been released from custody and was ordered to return to deal with the matter in September.

Update #2: Christian's rep has released the following statement: "Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale."

Rachel Bilson showed off her perfect Summer style once again out running errands in LA yesterday. No Hayden by her side this time around, but the couple have been laying low just enjoying the warm weather in California and New York. He doesn't quite measure up in cuteness — sorry — but at least he makes little Summer Roberts happy. She may not have a whole lot of acting gigs lined up, but I agree with most of you that she'll be finding success in fashion thanks to her new clothing line.

After her red carpet Saturday night, Britney Spears spent some time sunning and shopping in LA on Sunday. The mommy looked happy to enjoy her post-settlement visitation rights and shower love on her two little ones. So cute to see Brit kissing Jayden and how amazing does her toned bikini body look? It's a little disturbing to see Sean Preston playing with her lighter and cigarettes, but the singer quickly took them away. Kevin might have primary custody, but Brit is making strides to show just how much she adores her sons. Now that she has her family in order, we can't wait to hear this new and improved Miss Spears when her next album debuts especially now that we're even more curious about these rumored angry lyrics.

It's right back to business at the estate for the Jolie-Pitt family! The whole family — minus the new twins Knox and Vivienne — played in the yard on Sunday. Maddox with his bleached hair and Pax played with that awesome giant ball while Zahara ran around while Shiloh, well, Shiloh looked a little upset. Awwww. There were even some other kids around, as well as Brad's mom who chatted with Angelina. We got our first peek at post babies Angelina and Brad when they shared a moment on their hotel roof, but this is a way better glimpse of one of our favorite celebrity families. So cute.

Sienna Miller was only in London for a few days, but was already hopping in a taxi on her way to Heathrow yesterday. Just last week she was on an extremely PDA-filled (NSFW) vacation with her father-of-four boyfriend Balthazar Getty where she looked very happy to be all over him, but "Miss Sullen" doesn't look as pleasant away from his side. If she's jetting off to join him, hopefully they'll consider his family before being so playful in public. Meanwhile, Balthazar released this statement:

"The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved. In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further."

We're not sure if it's really any better now that he's addressing things, but at least he's acknowledging the situation. It certainly seems like a mess for everyone involved, especially his family, wife and kids.

Jamie Hince was back by Kate Moss's side yesterday for some shopping, strolling and smoking in London. It looks like their breakup was only temporary, which is good news considering rumors that Pete Doherty was scheming to get Kate back. Even though Kate and Jamie still share a love for cigarettes and late nights, he seems like a healthier match for her. They certainly looked happy yesterday so perhaps their short split won't put too much of a damper on their possible marriage plans.
