Some lovely ladies beat the NYC heat by slipping into some skimpy clothing for Longchamp's 60th anniversary celebration last night. Despite Josh being in the city filming Fringe, Diane Kruger hit the party solo, showing off her figure in a daring outfit. Speaking of flaunting a rocking body, Leighton Meister poured herself into that LBD and showed off her free-falling bangs posing with costars Jessica Szohr and Nicole Fiscella, while some other Gossip Girl kids were elsewhere in town at the big Dark Knight premiere. Rounding out the TV star set — not to ignore the fabulous Susan Sarandon of course — was Lipstick Jungle's Lindsay Price and Brooke Shields out to fashion party the night away.

After spending last week on separate continents, David and Victoria Beckham were back together last night, reuniting for a date at Il Sole. Since Victoria wasn't in town to congratulate David on making the All Star Game, a little celebrating was definitely in order. Looks like Posh was having a little trouble walking back to her car, but luckily Becks was right there to lend a helping hand. Now all they need are those three adorable boys to complete the family portrait.

Ashlee Simpson styled her baby bump with some stripes as she and Pete made their way into the doctor's office hand in hand yesterday. The expecting couple looked precious in their matching sunglasses, and it's great to see that Pete is taking such an active role in the pregnancy. It's hard to believe that these two will go from riding around on golf carts to installing car seats, but at least we know they'll be able to make a pretty sweet duet for lullabies.

Eva Longoria started her day with long hair and a bright blue dress on the set of Desperate Housewives. The actress looked well rested from her recent anniversary vacation full of boats and bikinis but she must have come home and wanted a change since later that day she was spotted leaving Toast with Tony in West Hollywood sporting a new short Summer do — love it or hate it? Is Eva morphing into Posh or will she be back to Jessica-like long curls by the end of the week?

We already heard some of the details about Britney Spears's video for Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour, and now here's our first look! At the end of last week, Britney shot the dark scene, which takes place in an elevator and includes an emotional outburst from the pop star — judging from these photos they weren't underestimating the intensity. While we're still waiting to see the video in its final state, there will be more Britney news before then. The latest is that after her weekend with mom and boys, Britney and Kevin's lawyers postponed this week's court date meaning the two sides could be working on a settlement. With Brit looking hot and good legal news, sounds like more positive steps for Miss Spears.

The long anticipated premiere of The Dark Knight finally arrived last night, and the stars dressed accordingly to the movie's title. Maggie Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, and Lauren Conrad all looked gorgeous in muted tones, while Christian Bale continued to prove that he looks hot in any color. Of course, there was one very important star missing but Heath Ledger's family and friends like Naomi Watts were there in his place, while his castmates had plenty to say in tribute to the late actor. Christian said,

"Working with Heath was fantastic. He steals the movie and I'm quite happy to say that. He's a hell of a talent and created a joker that's very iconic and one that will become a classic portrayal of the ages."
While the film's premiere was a bittersweet event, the rave reviews will hopefully make The Dark Knight the box office smash hit that will help honor Heath's memory forever.
