After the glamorous and sunny red carpet, Justin Timberlake took the stage to host the ESPY Awards in LA last night. While JT cracked up the crowd imitating Tony Romo's girl Jessica Simpson with a life sized cut out in between big musical numbers, some of our favorite athletes hit the podium to accept their prestigious awards. JT even took a shot at himself saying about his infamous Superbowl show, "I wanted to be the only guy at a football game to get to second base." He wasn't the only one bringing the laughs — even Will Ferrell took home a statue. While Justin's girlfriend Jessica Biel stuck to the backstage fun, there were cute starlets aplenty with Kristen Bell as just one of the presenters. Nicole Kidman was spotted out and about with husband Keith Urban for the first time since giving birth to Sunday Rose on July 7. While we're still waiting to see the baby — whose photos they are supposedly not selling to any magazines, for whatever reason — mom Nicole already looks fabulous! Of course she was slender the whole way through her pregnancy so it's no big surprise there. Nicole recently emailed the NY Post about little Sunday saying, "We are in heaven. Can't stop staring at her in complete awe. Feeling incredibly blessed to have been given this precious little angel. Can't wait for you to meet her!" We can't wait to meet her either!

Neil Patrick Harris and Kristen Chenoweth were up and at 'em early this morning to announce the 2008 Primetime Emmy Nominations — and thankfully they were both able to celebrate with acting nods of their own! As expected, the excellent Mad Men scored big with noms for Best Drama Series, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, and Damages also got recognized big. We're particularly excited to see adorable Lee Pace nominated for Pushing Dasies which got a whole bunch, Amy Poehler for SNL in the first year acting nods were allowed for the show, and the Matt Damon/Ben Affleck videos get recognized (even if Sarah and Jimmy are no longer)! It's aways fun when two worlds collide, like last night when athletes and celebrities came together for the ESPY Awards. Pretty boy Zac Efron showed off his tan from his recent steamy vacation with Vanessa while adorable Dave Annable smirked and Samuel L. Jackson smiled wide. Kate Walsh looked hot in her little purple dress, and VS supermodel Adriana Lima looked to be having a blast with her fiance, basketball player Marco Jaric. Of course all eyes were on David and Victoria Beckham, who was apparently so sunny she couldn't even take off her shades. Things are obviously going well for the couple who, according to David's blog, love LA and "can’t imagine being anywhere else in the world right now."

Katie Holmes was all smiles as she made her way to the set of Eli Stone yesterday with her script in hand. Adorable Suri wasn't there to accompany her this time around, but clearly her appearance on the show is enough to put a spring in her step. Most of you agree that Katie is best suited to the small screen, so perhaps this cameo could open a door for another show Katie can call her own.

Yesterday was another fun one at the TCAs in LA! Buzz and I buckled down to enjoy the first day of ABC panels, which included some swoonworthy celebrity sightings including Ashton Kutcher and newly fit Zach Braff. Check out Buzz for full news on the shows, but here are my thoughts on the day, shows, and whether or not Jonny Lee Miller wants to talk about Angelina Jolie:

• The day kicked off with Eli Stone and the question on everyone's mind was Katie, Katie, Katie. We got a few more details on her role, but mostly we'll have to wait for Oct. 21 to see her return to TV singing and dancing.
• When asked about Angelina Jolie, her former husband, Eli Stone star Jonny Lee Miller, said we'd have to call her. Ha.
• Breaking news: The Scrubs folks are funny! While Bill Lawrence revealed that this will be Zach Braff's last year on the show, the whole group seemed excited about the move to ABC.
• Love love love Sarah Chalke (who they kept joking is the mother on How I Met Your Mother). Lots more from the hilarious panel here.

Kirsten Dunst looked a little more done up than usual with her curls after a coffee break in NYC yesterday afternoon. There's been a lot of talk this Summer already about exactly which guy is putting the spring in Kirsten's step these days, and the newest is that she was spotted getting cozy with Drew Barrymore's very recent ex, Justin Long. Apparently Kirsten and Justin have been friends for some time, and she may even have a crush on him. Maybe it's me, but I don't see the immediate appeal, but hey — the hot Hollywood ladies seem to love him.
