Lindsay Lohan turns 22 today and yesterday she geared up for her birthday as responsibly as she knows how — with another day on the set of Labor Pains. Today she took the day off, treating herself to a shopping spree at Cartier with Samantha. We'll still have to wait and see what happens at her birthday party at Teddy's tonight, but we're hoping LL is finally ready to leave her troublesome nights behind for good. She's also got plenty of other things on her mind these days — besides the stories about her illegitimate half sister trying to become a singer herself, Lindsay is rumored to be teaming up for a duet with Lily Allen for Lily's new album.

Speaking of how stunning she is Bella had a chance to interview her makeup artist so check out what it takes to create her red carpet looks. Charlize has been all over getting ready for the big opening weekend of Hancock — check out Buzz's review here — but she's got more going on than superheroes. In the article, she talks about body image, her rise to stardom and can't help gushing about her man Stuart. Here are highlights:

• On moving to Hollywood: "I left home on my own. It was hard but I had been taught not to feel sorry for myself and to do things on my own. Even at school if me and some friends were in trouble, I would be the only child sitting in the head’s office without a parent. From a young age my mum taught me to look out for myself and deal with my own consequences. She had to give me armor."
• On what attracted her to Stuart: "The most amazing thing about Stuart is he got through to me on a level that no one else did. In my life there have been two people who formed me. My mother made me strong and wanted me to be invincible. Stuart made me softer. He was one of the few guys who wasn’t afraid of me. What he saw was not toughness but vulnerability. I am massively vulnerable, and for so long I just worked hard to cover that up. Stuart wasn’t scared to confront that. He is the one man who never worries about kicking me up the backside. It’s a good thing."
• On how their relationship began: "At first neither of us would admit to being a couple, but fate kept conspiring to put us together. He left Los Angeles and within a matter of days I had a shoot for ELLE in Paris. We met up afterwards in Dublin. Then he had more work booked in LA. I went out again to his flat in Ireland. It was just a couple of weeks into the relationship but I knew I was falling in love. We had a bottle of wine and just talked and talked. I stood up and said, 'Let’s pack up your stuff and ship everything to LA.' We spent all night packing and that was it."

The half Canuck duo, Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie, made it a happy Canada Day with an afternoon of shopping for her and a night at Katsuya as a couple yesterday! These two have been together almost a year now — which in Hollywood standards has people asking where the ring/baby are already — and still look as smitten as ever. Awww. From celebrating his country of origin to hers, hopefully we'll see these two hitting the beach this Fourth of July in honor of both holidays!

Shia LaBeouf looked cute and clean-cut back on the set of Eagle Eye for some reshoots in LA on Monday, but it wasn't until after filming that he melted our hearts. At the end of the day, Shia gave a very special treat — a big hug — to a young fan that was waiting outside his trailer. While Shia seems to be working overtime lately to maintain his new superstar status, it makes us happy to see that all his fame hasn't gone straight to his head.

Baby Alexander Schreiber is about to get a little brother or sister. Us Weekly is reporting that Naomi Watts is four months pregnant. It will be her second child with Liev Schreiber, only a few months younger than pregnant BF Nicole Kidman's baby-to-be! Alexander will be celebrating his first birthday on July 26th, but he'll have to wait a few more months for his baby sibling birthday gift. Congrats to the growing family!
