The upcoming August issue of Vanity Fair is devoted to Hollywood's new class of rising stars. It's no surprise that the gorgeous cast of Gossip Girl is front and center, with Blake Lively landing on the cover. Our Upper East Siders also share the spotlight with a few of the new popular kids like Zoe Kravitz, Hunter Parrish, and the Superbad Boys. The article takes a trip down memory lane to VF's group from 2003, citing Shia as its biggest success and prompting us to guess which of these fresh faces will be the A-listers of tomorrow. While we've got a few of our own predictions, in the meantime we can enjoy a sneak peek into the likes and dislikes of the kids who are ruling the Hollywood scene — at least for now.
Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish laughed their way through a friend's barbecue arm-in-arm this weekend in LA. While their pre-Fourth of July cocktail doesn't look festive for the holiday, the smiles are a welcome sight after their first public event together. It's hard to admit that these two look cute together, but we have to wonder if Reese isn't the only one thinking about shacking up with a new love this Summer especially now that Ryan's got that huge gorgeous new home.

Victoria Beckham and Kate Beckinsale spent Sunday afternoon enjoying their frequent warm weather weekend pastime — ice skating with the kids. As usual the new BFFs sat on the sidelines and chatted with the other moms while the little ones enjoyed the Summer version of the usually wintertime sport. Despite chilly temperatures inside the rink, Posh sported her flip-flops again, still love it. Even with David Beckham in DC for a game, hot Len still joined in on the fun to see the kids strap on those skates and show off their skills.

Despite all the Lohan drama last week with Lindsay's supposed long lost sister, LL went about her usual routine in LA. She was spotted wearing a fake baby bump on a smoke break on the set of Labor Pains — obviously an unflattering sight but luckily for all of us, it's only for a film. Samantha Ronson continues to be by her side and holding her hand at work and play. The twosome also did normal things like shopping at Barneys yesterday. You all are not surprised by any Lohan headlines these days but at least Lindsay's the one laying low.

Cameron Diaz and Paul Sculfor are quickly joining the ranks of attached-at-the-hip (or lips) celebrity couples. The newly inseparable duo's Friday night date consisted of dinner at Georgio Baldi followed by a leisurely Saturday at the Getty. While the leggy blonde has been a familiar face and personality for years, we still know next to nothing about this mysterious male model with the ability to attract Hollywood's sweethearts. I admit that I'm curious to know more about him, but I have high hopes for anyone who can make Cameron so happy.
