Britney Spears was straight-faced leaving an all-day meeting with Kevin Federline and both their lawyers in LA yesterday to try and hammer out a new custody arrangement outside of court. After this week's hearing, Britney is allowed one overnight a week with Sean Preston and Jayden James while Kevin maintains temporary physical custody, but the August trial will make a more permanent decision. According to his lawyer, Kevin wants to keep sole physical custody with "substantial and meaningful" visitation involvement for Britney. No agreement was settled on yet, meaning a trial is coming our way, but apparently the talks stayed civil. Hopefully both sides can keep it that way because the last thing Britney, Kevin or the boys need is more public drama over the custody of their sons after finally reaching a bit of stability.

Katherine Heigl took a break from her life of backyard bikini leisure to house hunt with TR Knight and his boyfriend in LA yesterday. The BFFs will be back at work soon and after the past few weeks it sounds like Katherine can use all the friends she can get on set. While TR has stayed quiet about the controversy, of course, her husband is happy to stick up for his girl. Aww. Thankfully for Katherine, the actual nominations will be out in a few short weeks, July 17, which will probably take some of the attention off her. That being said, her show is in the top 10 finalists, which the Academy revealed for the first time ever. Now, I just wonder how Katherine will manage to put her foot in her mouth watching how everything pans out with this impending actors' strike?

Beyonce was spotted making her way through Heathrow Airport in London yesterday, but maybe she was feeling a little homesick. Not only was she dressed super casual — a far cry from her usual ensembles — but she was showing some hometown pride with her Texas t-shirt. We have a feeling that B will be hanging around the UK long enough to catch her man Jay-Z headline the Glastonbury Music Festival this weekend, and while he's taken some criticism for bringing hip-hop into the mix, we doubt anyone will want to mess with his Texan wife.

Chris Brown and Rihanna tried to lay low as usual but were still spotted running errands in LA yesterday. The covert couple was pretty adorable at the BET Awards earlier this week singing along to each other's songs as they each performed and looking cozy next to each other in the audience. At this point these two can give us all the, "I'm not in love," and, "We're close friends," they want, but they're not fooling anyone. Hey, if they're aiming to be something like the next J and B, they're learning secrecy from the best. I'm just happy to see this beautiful young twosome together — preferably relaxing in the sun showing off those beach bodies.

It's been a fairly light on Lindsay Lohan week around here, but the starlet was still on the set of Labor Pains in LA yesterday. While this project is one finished product we're already looking forward to seeing, yesterday we got more details on her upcoming album release. We got a supposed title, Spirit in the Dark and a release date, November 4. Last we heard it was rumored to be called Nobody's Angel, so nothing's certain yet other than the fact that she will be giving us a record. I admit that I'm not counting down the days for more music from LL, but I'll withhold judgment since she's already proving herself in other ways these days.
