Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds put on their finest businesswear for a hard day of work on the set of The Proposal in NYC today. Sandra didn't let her sexy suit stop her from cozying up to her furry costar the police doggie. Ryan Reynolds always cleans up nice, but I must admit that I'm more curious to hear about his real-life proposal than any movie. Or how about just a glimpse of the newly affianced couple, since we haven't seen him with Scarlett since we heard their big news (and saw her new bling).

Gwen had her arms full of Kingston yesterday, who showed his appreciation for his mom with a few kisses. Gavin wasn't there to accompany his two favorites to the playground this time, but his family is never far from his thoughts. In this Sunday's Page Six Magazine, Gavin talked about Gwen's style, saying, "It's like marrying three different people a week, because you never know who's going to come out of the bathroom. Her five-minute look is my favorite. She looks perfect unmade-up." Kingston may win the most cute points in the Stefani-Rossdale family, but it must be easy when his dad sets such a great example.

After seeing Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish looking cozy in December, the maybe-couple has been laying low. Up until last night, that is, when they made their romantic relationship clear at the Australians in Film 2008 "Breakthrough Awards" in LA. Ryan escorted his honored lady to the event, and apparently there was plenty of hand holding and back rubbing for all the other attendees to see. Since Reese has very clearly moved on with Jake, we're glad that Ryan has found someone too — even though we may always associate Abbie with her rumored role in splitting up one of our favorite celebrity couples.

Jessica Simpson stepped up to the mic along with some of country music's biggest names to help kick off the 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville last night. Of course, Jess is no stranger to the stage, but there have to be some big-time nerves showcasing her new material to an audience who already has lots of preconceived notions about her. Considering the warm reception you all gave "Come on Over," hopefully it all went over great. Either way, she did it with a big old smile on her face, as did fellow blonde performers like Kellie Pickler, Jewel, and Taylor Swift. Jess will be taking her show to The View on June 25, which is just the beginning of promotion for the new album. Looks like we better get used to Jessica Simpson: country darling.

Carrie Underwood slipped into uniform and stepped up to the plate alongside some of her fellow country stars for the 18th annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge on Wednesday. She played tough before the game, saying, "I’ve got a lot of practice with a bat one way or another the last couple years." Unfortunately, Carrie's confidence wasn't enough to lead her team to victory, but she still looked cute as a button running the bases. Tonight we'll get to see her flex her more famous muscles — those vocal cords — singing at the 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville.
