Nicole Richie and Joel Madden kept baby Harlow under wraps yesterday as they ran errands in LA. The first item on the agenda was a stop by the DCMA store to say hi to Benji, and then it was off to Whole Foods with the Maddens' mom Robin in tow. The new parents are all about family these days, but they're happy to reiterate that they have no plans to make it official with a wedding anytime soon. While we'd love to see Nicole in a wedding dress, it's obvious that they have a sense of humor about holding off and are just making Harlow the center of their world for now.
Matthew McConaughey was in good spirits leaving an office in LA yesterday wearing that man bag designed by his lady. While he's still got his shirtless surfer side on the weekends, the soon-to-be father is spending more and more time fully dressed and in work mode these days. Of course, that isn't to say he's all settled down — as evidenced by the newest details of his drunken night down in Nicaragua. Apparently Mr. McConaughey had to be carried home at the end of the night, at which point one of the helpful hands swiped his BlackBerry and $2000! The actor was reportedly too embarrassed to do anything about it when he figured out that he was missing the goods. Sounds like just the kind of night he's like to forget...as if he even remembers.
Paris Hilton — and her dress— looked very bronzed while picking up some Chinese take out at Chin Chin restaurant in LA Thursday. While some things never change, like Paris' love for a photo op, it turns out Nicole's not the only former Simple Life star turning to philanthropy. Paris donated a generous sum of money towards an upcoming new wing of the LA Children's Hospital. Paris is also keeping busy with her career, with help from Benji she is writing and singing the theme song for her reality show.
Lots of lovely ladies were out last night to celebrate at the tenth annual White Tie and Tiara Ball in honor of the Elton John AIDs Foundation at Elton's estate in England. Will and Jada, Liz Hurley (who took the theme quite literally with her sparkly headpiece) and Orlando Bloom joined newly-engaged Uma Thurman for the evening, which raised an impressive $20 million. Mischa Barton was also on hand for the night, as she posed for photos with Kelly Osbourne and her man Luke Worrell. It was certainly a mixed crowd — check out more photos of them coming and going — but it looks like everybody had a blast partying for charity.
Michael Lohan brought his girlfriend to visit Lindsay on the set of Labor Pains yesterday, looking happy despite yet another controversy. OK! magazine is reporting that Michael had a brief relationship in the early '90s while temporarily separated from Dina, which resulted in a now-13-year-old daughter. He has yet to confirm or deny the story and says only that his lawyers are addressing the matter. Anything could be expected from the Lohans at this point but are you surprised to hear that Michael Lohan may have a secret illegitimate child?
Kate Moss had babies on the brain this week, from posing with a fan's tot to taking her daughter Lila to the pub for some fun with a bubble gun on Wednesday. Lila showed off her growing fashion sense with a tee-shirt tribute to her supermodel mom — so cute! Even if you're not related to Kate, you too can own a piece of Moss memorabilia. A photographer is auctioning off a piece of Kate's hair extensions that fell out after she partied a little too hard recently in Berlin. Gross.
