Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy and little Evan were front and center in Washington, DC today for the Green Our Vaccines march. The loving couple and their adorable boy were out to support the cause which campaigns for further research into possible correlations between vaccines and autism, something near to their hearts since Evan was diagnosed with the developmental disorder. At the rally Jim spoke:

- On Evan: "He taught me how to love. And without Evan I might never have seen the greatness of Jenny's spirit."
- On the cause: "Jenny's friends would kind of hint around and say, 'Hey, it would be kind of cool if you got involved in this,' and I thought to myself, 'This is just so inevitable. This just can't not happen. If you care about the planet and about children, you have to."
I love to hear Jim open up about what Jenny and Evan have taught him and it just melts my heart to see them all together.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson did some more grocery shopping yesterday with a late night trip to Mayfair Market. Seeing the duo's domesticity is second nature now especially since they've been hanging out with Samantha's mom and Sam took care of LL when she was sick. Despite Lindsay's parental trouble, she seems very happy with Samantha whether or not they ever open up about their relationship.

Ashley Judd has been committed to international humanitarian issues for some time now, and yesterday she came before the UN to speak passionately about the human trafficking crisis. She became involved in the cause after traveling the world on her global health tour raising HIV/AIDS awareness. At the press conference, Ashley said, "I know that the unheard are helped when they are heard. I know that compassionate listening helps me, and my goal was to help the UN help them." Ashley's famous smile is especially wonderful combined with the big heart and helping hand she brings to such important and critical global issues.

Charlize Theron was happily soaking up the sun for a photoshoot in July's Glamour. Just in time for the release of Hancock, she seems carefree and ready for her big Summer blockbuster. In the issue, Charlize gives us the facts on her career, her man, and her rules to live by. Here's more:

- On the future: "I don't believe in making five-year plans. I don't want to say, 'Yes, I want to have children in the next five years,' because I don't know. I've always known that I'd like to be a mom, but I don't want to live by a schedule. If I [did], I wouldn't be living in the moment. I try as much as I can to live the life I want [right now]."
- On why she's attracted to Stuart Townsend: "He's got beautiful feet and hands. [Laughs.] Here's the thing: The Beatles had it wrong about love. They did! I think if you are in a one- or two-year relationship, love is enough. You can thrive on that. [But] when you hit years three and four, you realize that if you're going to live with somebody and not just live near somebody...you have to be nurtured emotionally and spiritually, and you have to be intrigued. Because if that intrigue runs out, you're not going to want to go home anymore."
- On working with good looking men: "I have no problem telling Stu, 'I think Will Smith is hot and I'm really glad I got to work with him.' I'd be an idiot if I said, 'No, [Will's] not that good-looking.' There'd be something wrong with me."

The adorable cast of How I Met Your Mother minus Jason Segel got together to share a few red carpet laughs in NYC last night at an Academy screening of the show. Alyson looked especially fabulous in her LWD while Jason Radnor looked every bit his character in the untucked shirt, tie and jeans. At the event Neil Patrick Harris talked about, what else, the possibility of bringing Britney back. He said, "The door is open for her. We would love (guest stars) who get in the show’s world to stick around if they want to … but I don’t know what the writers have planned." While I love the show with or without Miss Spears, it would be fun to see crazy Abby one more time.
