Rihanna's busy week in NYC rolled on as she headed to the Empire State Building last night for the 3rd Annual LOVEDAY celebration. She showed off her Cartier love bracelet for charity, but said she wasn't in love herself — wonder what Chris Brown thinks about that. This morning she woke up early for The Today Show. She performed three of her hits and also talked about her new role as the official ambassador for cultural youth in Barbados, and how much she loves her home country. Rih must be a little homesick after her action-packed week, but hopefully she's not too tired since she's got the BET awards next Tuesday to gear up for.
Mandy Moore took a break from her men — boyfriend Ryan Adams and ex flame current friend DJ AM — for a trip to Barneys in LA earlier this week. The starlet left her smiles at home too, apparently, but we've been seeing a lot of Mandy's sunshine recently with the new love in her life. While Ryan has a good amount of fans around the world, the fact that his name is so close to that of another singer, Bryan Adams still causes a fair amount of confusion apparently including Mandy's own mother. I just hope she didn't say that to Ryan's face, since he's known not to have a great sense of humor about that particular mix-up, or maybe adorable Mandy has mellowed him out.
A walk around town does not mean anything intimate, but we can't help but wonder if Kirsten Dunst's male friend is the reason for her big smile. She was spotted in NYC yesterday with Matt Creed, a DJ who was once linked to Mary-Kate Olsen. She also apparently stayed close to his side the other night while he was spinning at the Beatrice Inn. She broke away for a little while to dance up a storm but the word is she looked happy and healthy which we can say the same from these photos here.
Mike Myers's The Love Guru hits theaters today, and so far the reviews have been flat-out awful. Check out what Buzz has to say here. It's his first non-animated movie in years, but his last film, The Cat and the Hat, wasn't received that well either. So tell us — do you think Mike has lost his touch?
Heidi Klum made her way through NYC yesterday, lugging all kinds of cargo. She showed off her two famous personalities: first as a mom, pushing adorable Johan in his stroller to Starbucks, and then as a fashion plate, toting her well-protected Loubs to her next location. While her life seems to be just one big balancing act, Heidi manages to make juggling priorities look easy, not to mention stylish.
Lauren Conrad was out with Lo in LA yesterday, after her trip to NYC where we had a chance to chat with her about her exciting newest project with Mark. The initiative is called m.Powerment and will support organizations against domestic violence, through sales from the "Have a Heart" necklace which is part of Lauren's new accessories line she designed — check out the necklace as well as the rest of her line here. Lauren also revealed her beauty tips including applying winged eyeliner. We asked Lauren to share something she wants people to know about her, she said:
"I don’t know. It feels like there’s nothing left. I think a lot of people have the perception that I shop all day and that I don’t work. But I actually have several different jobs and I’m very busy. I get kind of the spoiled brat rap."
LC has certainly come a long way since we met her on Laguna Beach over four years ago and she's been non-stop ever since. Some people may see her shopping every day but clearly this girl is working hard and making something of herself while even giving back.
Kate Moss was all smiles leaving the SingStar Take That Extravaganza in London. She took a casual approach to the night, opting for patent leather flats and mixed-matched blacks.
