The UN Goodwill Ambassador's emotional plea, "They have survived war, they have survived displacement, they have survived rape, they have survived hunger and disease," brings attention to the heartbreaking and important day. It will also be recognized with events all over the world. This video is released in conjunction with an expected article in a major national newspaper which will be published on Friday. Even with Angelina's busy life, growing family and movie promotion, the important international causes are always close to her heart.

Matt Damon grabbed a soda on the way to work on The Informant in LA earlier this week, and we're thankful to catch a glimpse of cute regular Matt before slipping back into that fat suit and mustache. He might be spending his days in character, but last night he had to be cheering on his Celtics and celebrating as they devoured the Lakers for the NBA title. Even if he couldn't make it back to Boston for courtside seats, the big win should put a spring in Matt's step as he heads off to another day of work.

Ginnifer Goodwin got some love from her boyfriend Chris Klein, who was there to cheer her on as she won the MaxMara "Face of the Future" Award. Salma Hayek was also one of the honorees, taking home the 2008 Lucy Award for her work as an actress, producer, and executive producer. Cameron Diaz looked cute and Spring-y while staying warm with a scarf while Nicole Richie looked pretty but so tiny as she was lost under all that fabric.

Wowzers at the Whitney last night! Rachel Bilson looked smokin' hot in her mini Herve Leger dress. We found out she was hosting the Whitney Art Auction shortly after sadly being crowned the worst dressed at the Costume Gala, but it looks like Ms Bils redeemed herself tonight. It's weird to ever think of the adorable starlet as super sexy but in a dress like that it's hard to avoid. The Whitney Art Party was presented by Max Azria (posing with Bilson) which also explains all the Herve dresses worn last night. James Franco also showed off his cute self on the red carpet. Hmm, they kind of look cute next to each other, don't they?

David Beckham is coming to San Francisco, big time. While the Lakers finals loss must have been hard to watch after last week's courtside time, Becks looked utterly hot driving around LA yesterday. On the brighter side — for us certainly! — David is on his way up to SF today to meet fans and unveil five new Armani underwear ads including a giant Union Square mural! We are so there. Considering he doesn't have another Galaxy game until Saturday, maybe he and Posh can make a mini vacation of the trip north and visit their new Napa vineyard. Either way, we can't wait to see the kind of oversized Becks that Posh was so excited about.

Last night was the second European premiere for Will Smith, Charlize Theron, and Jason Bateman as they brought Hancock to Berlin. With Will off performing some super-human feats on the red carpet, Charlize looked stunning on her own in a short, sexy and playful black dress. She also looked fabulous at the Paris screening, and with many more promotional events to come, Charlize will be sure to rock the red carpet competition this summer.
