Katherine Heigl flashed a smile on her way into the wrap party for The Ugly Truth in LA last night. While that movie doesn't sound like much of a departure for Katherine, who is a romantic comedy veteran at this point, her next project is a weighty one. The actress will star in and produce the adaptation of Carolyn Jessop's memoir Escape. Jessop's story and testimony played a big part in the recent polygamist sect scandal and the book is about her time on Warren Jeffs' compound. It's a far cry from what we've seen from Katherine so far, but considering she was raised Mormon the topic must hit close to home. Meanwhile, Heigl doesn't want acclaim for this season of Grey's Anatomy — she officially pulled her name out of the running for an Emmy.
Kate Hudson looked gorgeous and giggly leaving her Soho apartment today to make an appearance on The View. Her mood stayed bubbly on the show promoting her new hair care line with David Babaii, but we're more interested in her flustered response on the subject of her new man Lance Armstrong. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban headed to the gym today for what seems to be their daily family workout time. One place we won't be seeing Nicole's bump is on the July Vogue — apparently Nicole will be fully clothed and barely showing on the cover shot by Annie Leibovitz. Oh well, at least soon enough we will get to see the new baby dressed in cute clothes thanks to gifts from Keith's fans.

Like always, we have a black Alexander McQueen blazer to thank for tightening the look and giving it some polish.
Chace Crawford was looking like the quintessential all-American boy as he went about his Monday activities during a trip to London. He snacked, shopped at Alexander McQueen and soaked up a little sun on a lawn chair. Chace probably won't get a very long break before he's back to filming Gossip Girl, and while people are already talking — but denying — a spin-off for Jenny, we can't wait to catch what our Upper East Siders have been getting up to during their Summer vacations.

She kept it glamorous in her stilettos trotting through the Soho cobblestones and speaking of her famous footwear — Fab found those famous blue Manolos from the movie! Ducking into stores like Dean & Deluca is one way to beat the heat, but better yet it's the perfect opportunity to grab an ice cold drink and slip into an air conditioned movie theater to once again catch up with the SATC girls.
