Lindsay Lohan got a special visitor during her first day of work on the set of Labor Pains — Samantha Ronson of course. After spending most of the weekend apart and rumors of trouble between the two, LL looked overjoyed to see Sam on the set, and right after work the duo was off to spend their evening together. This time they were joined by Lily Allen at Il Sole. Miss pink-haired Allen has been getting into some trouble as a party girl recently, so hopefully all the little ladies were on their best behavior last night. Ashlee Simpson may be laying off the hardcore workouts, but she's keeping her mind and body in the right place with a prenatal yoga class in LA yesterday. She looked all happy and pretty grown up, but even now that she's married with a baby on the way, people can't stop talking about Joe Simpson's overbearing ways. Now, Joe is responding to the rumors that he's too involved with his girls. He said to Extra:

• On his role: “For all those people thinking I’m sipping Piña Coladas on the beach and enjoying millions of dollars and having this great life – Bull..I work seven days a week, 24/7. The media says that I try to plan everything - If I had half of the power they give me…They [Ashlee and Jessica] don’t call me and ask me. They call me and tell me.”
• On Ashlee: “I love Pete to death…He has a patient spirit and a kind heart…I’m honored to have Pete as my son-in-law.” Although Simpson tells “Extra” that the sex of Ashlee’s baby, which will be his first grandchild is unknown, “I would love to have a boy, but I know how to raise girls so I’m good with that.”
• On Jess and Tony: "That's going well -- she is as happy as I've seen her in years." He continues, "He's a great guy. I love Tony to death -- he's just a good kid."

Either way, I'm just trying to get used to the idea of Ashlee as a mom. I'm sure it'll become far more normal as we watch her baby bump grow and I have a feeling this isn't the last we'll be hearing from Joe on the topic. Even if his intentions are in the right place, methinks there are a lot of people who don't want to see him with another Simpson (Wentz) girl with a career to manage.
