Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt brought their PDA-fest to NYC yesterday, with stops at The Late Show and an ATM (to take out some of that hard-earned cash) before dinner at The Waverly Inn. While they're busy doing their thing in the East, drama was predictably going down with their costars from The Hills back in LA. Tension has been rising between Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge for a while now, and it recently came to a head when LC flipped out at Audrina after finding her in the middle of a photoshoot in their backyard, and rumor has it Miss Patridge is moving out. Now we just have to wait and see it all go down when the show returns in August.
Robert Downey Jr. had his hands full shopping at Fred Segal in Santa Monica yesterday with what looks like multiple rugs. The actor was looking less Iron Man and more laid-back LA man. You all think he is suave enough to play Hugh Hefner, so maybe his ability to change it up from his preppy look to a suited up Robert makes him so well loved. We know we are excited to see more of RDJ this Summer when he starts promoting Tropic Thunder.
What do Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have in common with newlyweds Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen? Apparently, a love for sushi. The two couples joined Chef Nozawa and others to attend the SugarFish by Sushi Nozawa grand opening party in Marina Del Rey last night. Baby Harlow stayed home for the night while her parents partied, but that's OK; we doubt she's old enough to enjoy yummy sushi anyways.
Jenny McCarthy jetted down to the Bahamas this weekend to mix business with pleasure. In between her time at the tables hosting a blackjack tournament, she slipped into a wet suit, swimming with dolphins and doing a piece for Extra. Unsurprisingly, Jenny talked about greening our vaccines and gushed about how much her man Jim's relationship with her son Evan means to her, saying, “He’s done an amazing job with Evan. Being that male perfect role model in our lives. To teach Evan how to be a great man.” Even though Jim couldn't make it, we have a feeling Evan had plenty of fun in the sun with his mom while she wasn't busy at the casino.
While everyone is talking up a storm about Katie Holmes heading to Broadway and whether or not this means a temporary relocation to NYC for the Cruise crew, the woman herself is still enjoying her LA life. On a break from rehearsals in Manhattan, Katie was back at home in Beverly Hills on Sunday grabbing lunch looking pretty in purple. Can't blame her for wanting to spend as much time in beautiful California as possible — especially now that their new home is finally finished. We're excited to see Katie flex her acting chops up on stage, but, to be fair, even more looking forward to little fashionista Suri enjoying all the fabulous NYC shopping (and parks).
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren welcomed Honor Marie on Saturday, and already the world is wondering when the first photos of their baby girl will surface. The new mom says that she hasn't gotten any offers yet, but other sources claim that she's in talks with Us Weekly, OK!, and People. We'd be surprised if she didn't score a cover with her little one, but tell us — do you think Jessica and Cash should sell their baby photos?
