Another season of American Idol has come to an end, and David Cook was crowned as an Idol. Our favorite parts of the show were Seal, sassy Carrie Underwood, Ben Stiller/Jack Black/Robert Downey Jr. singing backup, and of course the special guest appearance by George Michael! As for the winner, we were pulling for Cook but tell us — are you happy about the new American Idol?
Nicole Kidman kept one hand protectively over that baby bump as she headed into Smashbox Studios in LA yesterday. Perhaps she is on her way to a photoshoot now that she has picked her famed photographer to capture her pregnant moment. She's been a busy woman this week going from the Country Music Awards show to a Bryan Adams concert but it doesn't look like she is planning on slowing down anytime soon. Nicole has been a little shy with her bump so it will be interesting to see how much she bares considering how popular it has become these days for celebrities to show it all on magazine covers. Britney Spears spent some of her allowance at Lisa Kline yesterday but the pop star is back in the studio so she won't have to worry about those bills pilling up. Brit's ex-boyfriend/producer J.R. Rotem told People that she's working on a new album with him. He said,
"She's great... She's like a master at what she does. She's a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the 'it' factor that not every artist has. So it's always nice to work with her. She's trying to find the sound and direction she wants to go in, but nothing is set in stone just yet. She has been playing the piano a lot and just singing. She says she misses 'just singing.'"
There's no doubt Ms Brit's got the talent and now that she seems focused again hopefully we'll get to hear a new album by year's end.
Since it seems like life is a catwalk for Kate Moss, we sometimes forget that once upon a time she was the ultimate runway model. While we looked back at her 90s career, the fashion icon continues to set trends every day. Kate arrived at a friend's house in a gray dress, but emerged shortly after in a gauzy white peasant top yesterday. Not sure what called for the wardrobe change, but if we had Kate's eclectic style we'd want to show it off as much as possible, too.
