Exactly as expected, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz tied the knot at her parents' home in Encino, CA on Saturday afternoon. According to People, the ceremony was officiated by Joe. Jessica acted as maid of honor and her date for the night was Tony Romo. Pete's bulldoggie Hemingway acted as ring bearer, though it sounds like there's definitely a baby on the way. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were among the 150 guests as were Donald Faison and CaCee Cobb. Ashlee's rep said, "We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends." The reception was Alice in Wonderland themed. Congrats to the happy couple — we can't wait to hear more details from their big day!

While according to all the stories it's all but official that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are dunzo, the duo was all smiles out to lunch together in LA yesterday afternoon before she hosted the rehearsal dinner at her house. Apparently Tony met Jessica with a kiss before lunch at Katsuya and as you can see they left together holding hands in the car. Yay. With Ashlee's wedding today and all the rumors about Tony coming or not coming as Jess' date, it's pretty sweet to see the two together before the big day. Hopefully this only means great things as he is by her side as her younger sister ties the knot.
Last Monday we sadly said goodbye to The Hills for a few months, but luckily we'll still get to keep tabs on our favorite reality starlets as they party away the Summer. Between her budding movie career and his return to TV on The Sarah Connor Chronicles, it's been quite the year for these two. It's sweet to see that they're still going strong — now I wonder whether Brian's given any thought to joining his old costars by reprising his role as David Silver in the 90210 spinoff.
Tobey Maguire headed to the park with his girls yesterday for a little barefoot family time. Ruby kept that adorable face out of the sun — thanks to her ruby colored hat — as she got a ride in daddy's hands, pushed around her cart and made a friend with wheels of her own. Looks like the toddler is ready for summertime in LA. Too cute.
