Hilary Duff continued her philanthropic "Blessings in a Backpack" program that she helped start three years ago with a visit to Boca Raton Elementary School Thursday. She said it was an honor to meet the kids and hand out backpacks of food, while the children showed their appreciation with flowers and huge homemade thank you cards. At the event, May 22nd was even officially declared as Boca Blessings in a Backpack Day, which just goes to show Hil is still the sweetheart you thought she was.
Hayden Christensen jetted into LAX on Thursday, where his girlfriend Rachel Bilson was waiting for a curbside pickup. It's pretty cute that he flew to LA to spend the long Memorial Day weekend with Rachel and, of course, her dog Thurman Murman. While Hayden was away, Rachel was busy with lots of fun family bonding, but hopefully they'll have a great couple of days filled with barbecues and couple time.
Paris Hilton took Thursday night off from cooking for her man to attend the Summer Stars Party in LA with Benji. Hey everyone! I am so excited, we have finally started taping my new show for MTV. I just want to thank you all for sending in your videos and applications. The response was massive and incredible, we had more applicants then any show in history, so that felt really nice that so many people wanted to be apart of it. I met all the contestants on wednesday night. I had them all meet me at the club Les Deux. I was a little nervous at first cause I always get shy meeting new people. But everyone ended up being very sweet, cool and fun to be around. I'm really happy with the final contestants, although it was really hard to pick only 18 people from so many great choices.
