Benji Madden swung by a LA spa yesterday to pick up a very blue and yellow-clad Paris Hilton. She brought along one of her many dogs for the occasion, but it turns out that puppies aren't the only things on Paris' mind these days. She recently said that she wants to start a family with Benji in 2009. The baby and marriage talk seems a little premature for a woman in a relationship that's lasted all of three months, but we've learned to expect the unexpected from good old Paris. Motherhood seems to have calmed Nicole Richie — do you think the same would happen for Paris?
Devendra Banhart jetted to France to join his lady love, Natalie Portman, at the Cannes Film Festival, this week. After working up an appetite by strolling around town with Natalie's puppy yesterday, the pair went out for a romantic meal — complete with frequent interruptions for kisses and hand holding. Natalie is set to be busy with her responsibilities as a member of the festival's jury and dolling herself up in lovely Lanvin, but hopefully she can fit in many more dinner dates with her man. It looks like this relationship is proving to be much more than just a Spring fling.
Liquid Gold Cate Blanchett: Love It or Hate It? While Harrison Ford and crew attended the NYC premiere, Cate Blanchett represented the cast of Indiana Jones in her country, Australia. I'm so used to seeing Cate in long, elegant Armani gowns that it's a bit strange seeing her in something so . . . disco. I love her shoes, but the dress is ill-fitting. What do you think?
We're sad to see our favorite TV shows head to hiatus for another Summer, but luckily the stars of the small screen are still coming out to play in Hollywood. Last night Alyson Hannigan, Minka Kelly, and Taylor Momsen got dolled up for the 36th Annual FiFi Awards in NYC. The ladies helped honor the night's big winners, which included Daisy Marc Jacobs and Intimately Beckham Women. We can see that they looked gorgeous in their springtime dresses, and something tells us that the lovely ladies smelled just as sweet.
Fresh off their stint in Cannes, Shia LaBeouf and Harrison Ford took their side-by-side promotional tour back to the states for a trip to TRL yesterday before the big NYC premiere. Shia looked all cleaned up with his short hair and cardigan while Mr. Indiana Jones wasn't looking too shabby himself. With Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull only one day away, the boys are laughing it up together and raving about how much they've learned from one another. Here are highlights from an interview at the Cannes premiere:
Harrison on Shia: "He has an enormous talent. He had some very archaic skills to acquire and he worked really hard. He will be around for a long, long time."
Shia on Harrison: "Even if you're welcome the scope is daunting and you have to get past that Harrison is Harrison – that's very scary. We started by jumping right into stunts and you find this mutual respect with Harrison who doesn't warm easy. And when we became friends everything became easier."
Considering Buzz's review and how obvious it is that these boys know how to have fun together, we can't wait to see Shia show off his sidekick skills when the movie hits theaters this weekend.
Eric Dane stepped out of the gym yesterday chatting away on his cell phone and showing off his new shorter haircut. He already downsized his facial hair from last season of Grey's Anatomy, but now he's taking things to a new level. As we gear up for the big season finale tomorrow night, check out McSteamy's new 'do and tell us what you think — hot or not?
Nicky Hilton makes dressing for transition weather look so easy! Waiting for her car at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, she wore a trendy and chic ensemble consisting of a gray blazer, a simple black tank, denim cut offs and platform booties.
