Gwyneth Paltrow had some fun with eye makeup and a wind machine for the cover of the Summer issue of V Magazine. After seeing her looking so perfectly polished for all of her Iron Man red carpets, it's fun to see Gwyneth letting loose a little. In the article, Gwyn talks about everything from her career to her family to her eating habits. Here are highlights:

• On working on Iron Man: "It was nice. It's great sometimes to go to work and think, Oh, we're just going to have fun. I wouldn't even know my lines because when we'd get there, Robert [Downey Jr.] would change everything. There was a point when I would have been scared to work like that, but now I'm up for anything. As long as it doesn't involve working five days a week!"
• On looking back on her 20s: "I wouldn't change anything. Even when I look back and think, Why did I do that or why did I date that person? Because ultimately all roads led me to where I am now. And it was incredibly fun-travelling the world, going to premieres, dressing up. It was just my life. I did it all the time. At certain points in more recent years, when I've been 30 pounds heavier and had milk dripping out of my boobs, it seemed like a fairy tale."

Nylon's May cover girls Blake Lively and Leighton Meester hosted a party for the magazine at Amalia in NYC last night bringing out all their Gossip-y friends. The girls themselves looked like they were having a blast, though I hear that Miss Lively and Penn Badgley requested to sit together in the back of the restaurant — we all know how much they love their private time. Naturally, Chace was mobbed by girls everywhere he went, while our newest GG, Michelle Trachtenberg, and finale guest star Lydia Hearst posed for the cameras. Considering the headlines all they make both on and off the screen — can't wait for the finale! — I'm sure these kids managed to stir up some trouble last night too. Britney Spears has been working hard lately, from her trip to the recording studio last night to appearances on How I Met Your Mother, so it's no big deal that the pop star could use a little vacation. Here's the twist — according to ET she's on her way to Costa Rica right now with Mel Gibson! While this isn't the first time Brit and Mel have spent some time together, he still seems like a interesting choice of vacation buddies. The good thing is that Jamie is along to keep an eye on Brit, so maybe some fun in the sun is all she needs to recover from her little car accident this week.

The singer looked very enthralled next to her husband Jay-Z watching the Boston Celtics narrowly beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (yay) in the NBA playoffs last night. There was with nary a baby bump in sight, but if there is a little one on the way, you think he/she is next in line for a House of Dereon modeling gig? Ugh.

Victoria Beckham had another day of looking impeccably stylish in her high-waisted skirt as she left the Dorchester Hotel in London. She's been busy this week making her way around town but also found the time to give a couple of interviews to The Sun and GMTV. While she doesn't always show her pretty smile, her sweet and down-to-earth demeanor easily came through when talking about her husband, her kids, and her friends in Hollywood. Here are a few highlights:

• On hanging out with George Clooney at the Costume Institute Gala: “I have only just got to know George. He was so nice, a real gentleman and absolutely hilarious. He has a great sense of humor. But I think David is better looking than him. Definitely.”
• On getting involved at the boys' schools: “They love it when Mummy and Daddy turn up to serve lunch. My parents do it and David’s mum has done it too. I’d rather go to Pumpkin Patch at school than dinner at the Ivy."
• On her star-studded trip to Napa: “It was a wild weekend. You know me, I don’t drink, but it was a great weekend. They are such nice people.”
• On spending time with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes: "Do you know we go to lots of different things together and they're great and really normal. And people don't want to hear that, people want to hear that people are weird."

While we think Posh was just messing with us about the drinking — we know she loves her wine — sounds like she's already campaigning for David to be this year's Sexiest Man Alive! That's definitely a nomination we can get behind.
