The fun times in Cannes kicked off today, and there was no shortage of star power out on the red carpet for the opening premiere of Blindness. Co-stars Cate Blanchett and Gael Garcia Bernal led the pack, and Eva Longoria and Mischa Barton were just a couple of the lovely ladies who lit up the red carpet in their brightly colored dresses. Natalie Portman looked adorable as always in her little purple number, representing the festival's jury along with Sean Penn. We can't wait to see all of our favorite stars strutting their stuff over the next week and a half — considering that the buzz started with Angelina confirming her twins, we can only imagine what other fun surprises are in store for us.
Maxim has been teasing us with clues about who made their annual Hot 100, and this week they released the whole list with VS model Marisa Miller taking the top honors. Right on her heels were Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Eva Longoria, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. On the whole, the list seems a bit odd with things like Ashley Tisdale at No. 10 and Britney at 19. Tell us — do you agree with the top five?
Beyonce Knowles' neon yellow nails added a little punch to her Girl Scout-inspired green ensemble as she left Madison Square Garden after Kanye's show last night. B wore a huge smile on her face to combat that hot mess of a look, while her high-waisted skirt covered any potential signs of a baby bump. You all are pretty split about whether or not this couple is expecting, and considering they haven't even confirmed their marriage yet, there could be many months of speculation before we get a straight answer from these two.
Last night on American Idol the contestants sang three songs each and considering the talent seemed so promising when the season kicked off, I'm left wondering why I barely care about who is left standing.
The judges praised the two Davids who will most likely duke it out next week but Syesha looked hot and sang very well. Too bad the judges basically wrote her off last night but she should be happy, she had a good run.
David Archuleta still has a great voice, but really, is this teenager going to be the next idol? Especially one that is laughable while singing Chris Brown. Simon calling him a "Chihuahua trying to be a tiger" was pretty hilarious.
David Cook was Simon's favorite and he declared him the winner of the night. At least he admitted to being a little biased since he chose his first round song and declared "Cowell and Cook" the winners. So Simon of him. The producers clearly want Cook to win too since the final song of the night was by far the best and of course their decision. It's true! After months of rumors, Angelina Jolie confirmed that she's having twins. In a co-interview with Jack Black to promote their Kung Fu Panda at Cannes, he apparently broke the news, which Angelina then confirmed. We've loved seeing the family's fun in France, from Angie's bikini time by the pool to shopping trips with the girls and it's about to get even more exciting. It will be the 5th and 6th child (all six and under, mind you) for Brad and Angelina. So many babies! Congrats to the seriously growing family — we can't wait to see the two new additions.
After their weekend of fun with the Beckhams at the Galaxy game, Tom and Katie took Suri to Hollywood for more sibling fun times. The trio headed to the set of Seven Pounds to catch Connor in action for his big movie debut. Suri is no stranger to movie sets but maybe seeing her big brother getting involved will inspire her to catch the acting bug too!
John Mayer brought out his serious crooning faces for the crowd at the WES 2008 BlackBerry Conference in Orlando last night, but in some ways, it was just an intimate show for one member of the audience. His girl Jennifer Aniston was watching and taking photos from the wings after the duo took a private plane up from Miami yesterday afternoon. The new couple's lovefest came complete with a pre-encore kiss last night as John ducked into the sidelines for a moment with Jen before coming back out to play "Free Falling." Impressing the new girlfriend by playing a total crowd pleaser — well played (wink).
Kate Moss was all smiles leaving the SingStar Take That Extravaganza in London. She took a casual approach to the night, opting for patent leather flats and mismatched blacks.
