Lauren Conrad had her hands full with her coffee, suitcase, and more as she headed back to her villa in LA, fresh off her trip to the MTV Upfronts in NYC Thursday night. This girl is used to globe-trotting by now, and we doubt she let a little jet lag slow her down since Friday was Audrina's 23rd birthday. Things might be a little awkward between these two BFFs now that Lo is part of the house, but we all know that a little birthday drama could make for a great episode for the next season of The Hills.
The Costume Institute Gala brought out some of our favorite celebrities on Monday evening, and the glamorous affair was led by the evening's hosts, George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Giorgio Armani. The Gala wasn't the only thing making headlines this week, though; here's a look back at the week in photos.
Patrick Dempsey looked all business picking up coffee and lunch in LA yesterday. While my hopes aren't too high for Made of Honor's second weekend in the theaters, at least things look like they're about to get interesting again on Grey's Anatomy. Last night's episode was a great blend of light-hearted and tear-jerker-y as we gear up for the finale ... already. I'm sure they'll still find a way to have us on the edge of our seats with the Derek and Meredith drama.
Gwyneth Paltrow ditched yesterday's gown in favor of something a little more casual as she continued to film her Dennis Hopper directed ad for Tod's in Rome today. Sounds nice, but Italy is only the most recent of Gwyneth's European adventures. Prior to her country hopping Iron Man tour, she and Mario Batali filmed their Chipotle-sponsored show Spain. . . on the Road Again all over the country.
Mary-Kate Olsen and her favorite fur bag — and are those moccasins I see? — chatted while she walked in Brentwood yesterday afternoon. She's so multi-talented, tooooootally deserves that Emmy, right?! With a new season of Weeds right around the corner in June, I'm already missing little hippy flower god child MK, though I suppose if I'm looking to see her in an altered state I can just keep waiting to finally see The Wackness.
The Office: Last Night's Most Relatable Moments Last night's episode of The Office followed Michael, Pam, Oscar, and Darryl on their field trip to the job fair at a local high school. Michael told Pam to bring only one piece of paper with them to the fair, because "a blank sheet of paper equals endless possibilities."
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
