As much as it breaks our hearts, George Clooney only has eyes for Sarah Larson these days, but that certainly doesn't mean there aren't a whole lot of women willing to give it a try. On Tuesday when he showed up for a shoot for Esquire's upcoming 75th anniversary issue, apparently he had the whole office swooning as he danced with different staffers. From there he continued his tour of NYC with a screening for Leatherheads where he joked about the movie's success, or lack thereof. He said:

"[Leatherheads] bombed and when I say bombed, it bombed. Someone said, 'How does that feel?' and it stings a little bit. It's not like we just showed up: I was working on this for a couple years and put a lot of work into it, and you get knocked back a little bit.
The trick is how you handle things when things don't go great. It's easy when things are doing well. The people I most admire are the people who handle it when the studio says that's really underperformed and they say, 'Ow, that hurt.' I've been a fan of watching people go through cycles, not just winning cycles."
Aw, don't be sad Clooney! While I'm sure it hurt to see his labor of love beaten down at the box office, he's still got a lot of great things going for him. Plus, hearing the most suave star in Hollywood talk about his wounded ego is perhaps the most endearing thing of all.

Lindsay rewarded her weekend of hard work on the set of Ugly Betty with dinner at Magnolia with Samantha Ronson in LA last night. She's not even trying to stay away from Hollywood nightlife these days, but at least she's balancing her partying with hard work, and not just on the small screen. Lindsay will star in another comedy called Labor Pains after shooting Ye Olde Times with Jack Black. Unfortunately for LL, her parents are too wrapped up in their own drama to keep the Lohan family in a positive media light for longer than a day.

Heidi Montag looked surprisingly normal, casual and down to earth grabbing lunch with Spencer Pratt in LA yesterday. At this point, really any time that she's not in the tiniest skimpiest thing she can find, it's a triumph of taste. While I much prefer her in sneakers and jeans Heidi to bikini on the beach Heidi, I'd be willing to bet that the editors of Maxim don't agree. In fact, they named her No. 36 on their Hot 100 list while Lauren Conrad came in at No. 56. The editors wrote, "Let's hear it for villainy!" Congrats to Miss Montag, though if I were LC, I wouldn't be too offended.

It was straight from her quarterly visit to the yoga studio and off to the ice cream store for Kate Moss in London yesterday — must be nice, right? Kate's back in London after her trip to NYC for the Costume Gala, and it looks like she's traded her red carpet finery for something a little more summery. With her fiancé Jamie off on tour in the US, maybe Kate will have more free time both for relaxing things like yoga or even starting to plan that upcoming wedding.

The new Mr. Mariah Carey and People cover boy showed off his wedding ring in NYC today. Well, show off might be a bit strong, but it's hard to miss it when it's got that much bling — click on the photo to see a bigger image of it. Paparazzi and fans swarmed around Nick Cannon to catch a glimpse of that band of diamonds after his surprising, and apparently surprisingly well planned out, wedding to Mariah last week. We got a look at the new Mrs. on their honeymoon, but the newlyweds have yet to venture out together. Here's to hoping that when they do, we not only get to see those matching rings, but the tattoos — hers is Mrs. Cannon in a butterfly on the small of her back, his is a giant Mariah from shoulder to shoulder — too.
