Let's Dish: Hell's Kitchen 4.6 Was last night's episode of Hell's Kitchen both the worst and best so far? The farmers' market challenge felt like I was watching Top Chef but the crazed teenage birthday party felt like I was watching My Super Sweet Sixteen. Did you watch? What did you think of the episode?
Ashton Kutcher brought his charm and a great blue shirt to The Late Show yesterday, where he cracked up Letterman with stories about growing up in Iowa, being a frat boy, Cameron Diaz's "superhero butt," and Demi's anti-aging leech treatment (don't worry, it confuses him too). Ashton has been looking great and turning on the handsome charisma out promoting What Happens in Vegas. He may have just turned 30, but he seems to be getting better with age. Between the cast's adorable chemistry and the promising trailer, I can't wait to see what exactly happens in Vegas.
After walking the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala with Kate Moss in her design, Stella McCartney kept the celebrity party going on the West Coast with a screening of The Party. Nicole, Joel, Charlize, and Stuart were just a handful of the stars that came out to watch the movie in Stella's LA boutique. Stella's already set her sights on designing a dress for another starlet who wasn't in the house — she wants to make Scarlett Johansson's wedding gown even though the bride doesn't know it yet. She joked about her vision last night, saying, "You know, some kind of dodgy, black thing. Latex! Latex for Scarlett!" We wonder how Ryan would feel about that.
Rachel Bilson was thankfully back to her regular cute self, arriving home at LAX last night and greeted by her mom. Her Costume Institute Gala look won her worst dressed of the night, a title that little R-Bils probably isn't used to receiving. Luckily, Rachel will have a chance to redeem herself on the red carpet soon — she's hosting the Whitney's 2008 Art Party in New York on June 17. For now, Bilson should relax, enjoy Mother's Day with her momma, and plot her next surefire red carpet move.
On yesterday's Oprah, Barbara Walters sat down to talk about her new tell-all book. She had plenty to say about her affair with the US Senator and keeping Star Jones' gastric bypass surgery a secret from the public. Star responded by saying,
“It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair, and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book."
Seems like Barbara doesn't really care about who she has to throw under the bus to promote her book, so tell us — is she going too far?
After getting fancy in Diane von Furstenberg at the Costume Institute Gala on Monday night, it was back to flowy skirts and flip flops for Mary-Kate Olsen as she arrived in LA yesterday. Of course it won't be long before MK has another red carpet to walk, and she might even have to start looking for something to wear to the Emmys! Showtime has submitted Mary-Kate's performance on Weeds for nomination consideration in the guest actress category. Rumor has it that she might even have some competition from Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, which would make for a memorable Emmy red carpet come September.
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter, denim leggings, and over-the-knee brown boots.
