Hollywood went to DC on Saturday night for the White House Correspondents Dinner and apparently left the color in Cali. Ben and Jen looked gorgeous as usual and brought some A-List acting clout to the reality TV infested event. Jenny McCarthy also looked pretty stunning, though that dress seems a bit risqué for the nature of the evening. Joy of joys, Heidi and Spencer made it after all though instead of black she's re-wearing the same exact outfit from her Kitson trip last weekend. Faux. Pas. I wonder what LC thought of that. Little Harlow Madden is destined to be a music lover. She's already traveled to see her daddy on tour and this weekend both her parents carted her off to Coachella. Unfortunately, we didn't get another glimpse of the munchkin, but Nicole and Joel seemed to be having a blast. The new mom was spotted dancing and taking pictures as Joel played DJ at a party and showed off his support for Obama. Of their mini vacation Joel said, "Nicole hasn't been able to do a whole lot over the year, so we're having a little family trip. I rented a house and surprised Nicole with a weekend trip because she likes Coachella. She was like, 'I really want to go!' So I surprised her. We brought the baby." Sounds like a sweet trip for the family and probably the first of many music festivals for the little rocker in the making.
As expected, Halle Berry strutted her stuff on the red carpet of the Silver Rose Gala and Auction in LA on Sunday, her first public outing since giving birth to her daughter Nahla six weeks ago. Let me just say — yowza! While she's been laying low with her baby girl, she's also getting ready to get back to work signing on to star in and produce the psychological thriller Frankie & Alice. While we're still patiently waiting to get our first look at Nahla, hot hot Halle is exciting enough for now.
The smiles just keep coming with Britney Spears — she happily stepped out after a vocal coach lesson and later into Bally's on Friday. I gotta say, she looks pretty great in that black dress and her favorite footwear. Her next custody hearing is right around the corner on May 6 and I gotta believe the judge will be impressed with her recent progress. It's hard to believe that her troubling January was just a few months ago, but hopefully Lynne is right and 2008 will once again be the Spears' girls year.
Jessica Alba looked stylish, comfortable, and very pregnant as she left her house in Beverly Hills with a friend on Friday. She might still have a month or so to go, but it seems like Miss Alba is starting to head into the home stretch. It's pretty great that even with her growing baby bump this future mom and wife is still considered one of the top five sexiest women alive.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
