Straight from shorts in sunny LA, Adam Brody got cozy in his jacket up in Vancouver yesterday where he's shooting Diablo Cody's new movie Jennifer's Body. No wonder he's been spending so much quality time with his doggies before getting out of town to work on the movie. Pretty cute in the furry jacket, so hopefully we'll get to see more of this California boy acclimating to colder climates.
Paris Hilton made time for some shopping in Canada yesterday before jetting out of Montreal. It's no secret that the heiress gets what she wants, and apparently Paris had her eye on some major purchases while she was in South Africa with Benji. The best part is that her taste wasn't limited to designer dresses and purses — she even inquired about the price of a cheetah at the animal park, saying, "If I bought a cheetah, would it run away from me or could I keep it?" Needless to say, it doesn't look like Paris' backyard zoo will be getting any new company just yet.
Lauren Conrad in her sassy outfit was right in the middle of a Brody and Frankie man sandwich on her way out of Katsuya and before hitting up S Bar in LA last night. The new hot spot was the scene of Lauren's birthday party and much of last night's drama on The Hills. The girls were making all sorts of trouble with friendships old and new, but really the best line of the episode has to go to Spencer. "You're making yourself cry . . . thinking about what you did." Heeeeee's crazy. Anyway, what did you think about last night's two new episodes? Were you paying enough attention to ace geek's tech quiz, Fab's fashion quiz, and Bella's beauty quiz?
Lindsay Lohan has another legal headache coming her way — she's getting sued again. A man who says he is a former bodyguard of hers is claiming that the starlet never paid him for his services in 2006 and 2007, and he wants her to fork over the $55,000 he supposedly earned. Meanwhile, Lindsay's rep says that she doesn't know who the man is. It seems like stars are getting sued all the time these days, so tell us — do you think celebrity lawsuits are becoming too common?
Where Would You Cast Rachel Dratch? Ex-Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock star Rachel Dratch needs a job. Like, really needs a job. The woman probably best known for Debbie Downer sounded an awful lot like her former character chatting with New York Magazine recently.
John Krasinski tried to keep a low profile as he made his way through LAX with his BlackBerry on Sunday. There was no sign of his usual cute smirk, wonder if it has anything to do with the weekend box office results? Leatherheads didn't open with a touchdown, and had to settle for a second place tie behind 21. Good thing John didn't quit his day job — maybe the return of The Office this Thursday can help put a smile back on his face.
Nicky Hilton was spotted leaving The Ivy restaurant after a day of shopping with sister Paris. Her casual yet stylish outfit, which consisted of skinny jeans, tall black boots and an Alice + Olivia military blazer, was perfect for the occasion.
