As expected, Halle Berry strutted her stuff on the red carpet of the Silver Rose Gala and Auction in LA on Sunday, her first public outing since giving birth to her daughter Nahla six weeks ago. Let me just say — yowza! While she's been laying low with her baby girl, she's also getting ready to get back to work signing on to star in and produce the psychological thriller Frankie & Alice. While we're still patiently waiting to get our first look at Nahla, hot hot Halle is exciting enough for now.
The smiles just keep coming with Britney Spears — she happily stepped out after a vocal coach lesson and later into Bally's on Friday. I gotta say, she looks pretty great in that black dress and her favorite footwear. Her next custody hearing is right around the corner on May 6 and I gotta believe the judge will be impressed with her recent progress. It's hard to believe that her troubling January was just a few months ago, but hopefully Lynne is right and 2008 will once again be the Spears' girls year.

She might still have a month or so to go, but it seems like Miss Alba is starting to head into the home stretch. Carmen Electra got engaged again this week, and showed off her new black diamond ring while hosting a party in Austin with new fiancé Rob Patterson on Thursday night. She has been married twice before, and although she and Rob have only dated for under a year, she claims "this relationship is different than the others." Nick Lachey was nice enough to lend his LAX expertise to Drew and his family, dropping them off for a flight on Friday. He'll have to cut back on his busy life of jet-setting now that he's got a new gig all lined up. Nick's Summer plans include hosting a High School Musical-type reality show. Not as relaxing as vacationing with his lady, but sounds like a good gig while she pursues her career as a serious actress.
