Another weekend, another Lakers game for their new biggest fans — the Beckham family. This time Posh stayed home with Cruz while the two older boys put on their gear and took their courtside seats with their dad. Becks had a smile on his face as they watched the Lakers narrowly win, but his own weekend match wasn't as successful. The LA Galaxy lost again on Sunday, this time to Toronto. David apparently was lucky not to be given a red card at one point, but he was still testy after the game about people's already negative attitude about the season. He said, "Three games into the season we can't panic too much, though we're disappointed today, people are starting to panic too much." Aw, don't be sad Becks, we still love you.
Cate Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton welcomed their third son, Ignatius Martin, on Sunday in Sydney. The news was first reported by the Australian Who Magazine, which also wrote that both mother and baby are doing great. Congratulations to the happy and growing family!

It was a momentary mystery to ID her guy under all that hair, but Nat's new man is none other than folk singer Devendra Banhart, whose music I like a lot. They have a bit of a history together; Natalie included one of his songs on a playlist she made to support her favorite charity FINCA, and she recently starred in one of his music videos. Guess these two are joining the list of stars who fall in love on video sets.
