Paris and Benji were black and white and red all over out in London last night. Paris may not have been beaming, but she has to be happy with the flip in her hair, right? As usual, the duo was attached at the hand making their way through the paparazzi. We all know how smitten Paris is with her new boyfriend and it sounds like her parents are equally impressed. They recently said:
Rick: "He’s the perfect example of ‘don’t judge a book by its cover...He’s polite, well-mannered—even calls me sir! We love him like family already. Benji doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke and is a healthy vegan!"
While Kathy chimed in: "He’s changed her life—and I really think she’s genuinely in love for the first time. He’s so good to her and for her. We couldn’t be happier for them. This has honestly become the real thing."
Considering some of the guys Paris has brought home in the past, I can't blame the Hiltons for being relieved. Those Madden boys may look kinda hardcore, but they do seem like sweethearts in the end.
David Beckham took his snazzy wheels through the Starbucks drive-thru in LA yesterday. Stars, they're just like us! He picked up his beverage and pastry, while no doubt giving the lucky barista the celebrity sighting of a lifetime. Hey, there was probably even hand-to-hand manjoyment contact. Even if he's a little down about how his season is starting out, it's gotta make him feel all warm and fuzzy inside to see all the girls swoon as he tools around town in his hot car.
After a few weeks playing with Lila stateside, Kate Moss was greeted at Heathrow yesterday by her very happy boyfriend Jamie Hince, and they headed right out for a typically raucous night with their friends. Just a few hours later the couple was back to the airport for a short flight to Edinburgh, Scotland, where Jamie's band will play this evening. Hopefully between all of her flying and partying, Kate will be able to plan for her rumored wedding — and now that she's the face of a bridal range, she must be getting all sorts of inspiration.
Ashlee Simpson stopped by TRL today with a smile on her face and an important line of questioning to address. She was there to promote Bittersweet World, but of course the issue on everyone's mind was the pregnancy rumor. While Pete's denial was more concrete, Ashlee was pretty vague about the whole thing. Maybe she's toying with us, or maybe there is more to the story. She said:
"I just think it's an inappropriate question to ask any woman...For me, that's something that I didn't ever want to respond to, because I think it's an inappropriate question...Some things, you want to keep personal, and I think that when people deny [reports that they're pregnant], it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal."
While she totally has a point, it still seems a leeeeetle bit odd that she won't respond with a simple no. I suppose only time will tell, but until then — has this settled it? Do you think she's not pregnant for sure?
UPDATE — People is now reporting that Ashlee is pregnant and planning to get married next month at a friend's house in La Jolla.
