Awww, yay. Britney Spears was positively beaming on her way out of the recording studio with Larry Rudolph and her parents last night. From the looks of it, there's no residual bad mood from her minor weekend fender bender, and she's super happy about reuniting with her old manager. Between trips to the gym and the recording studio, there's not much to report on Brit these days. Even her custody battle is at a standstill while she gets everything back on track. There's a ways to go yet, but seeing her with that big Britney smile is enough to bring one to our faces as well.
Lindsay Lohan has been going out in LA a lot lately, and even though she hasn't gotten into any trouble, we still worry about her spending so much time at the clubs. Apparently we're not the only ones who want Lindsay to stay on good behavior — her BFF Samantha Ronson has apparently been sleeping at Lindsay's apartment to help keep her from getting out of control. So we want to know — do you think Samantha can help Lindsay stay out of trouble?
Heidi Montag stopped by TRL yesterday to promote her new clothing line and of course, The Hills. Things between Spencer and Heidi were pretty rocky due to their "relationship vacation" on last night's episode, but we know how that story ends. Speaking of last night, were you paying attention to all of the fashion, gadgets, and beauty looks that the girls were rockin'? Perhaps now that some of her Spencer stress is relieved, Heidi can finally find the time to register to vote in support of her candidate John McCain? Even if you don't want to dress like Heidi, at least getting involved in the presidential election is a good example to follow.
Pop Reports: Bjork At The Hammersmith Apollo I had a busy evening yesterday – not only did I watch the Skins series finale, but I also ventured out to Hammersmith Apollo to see the amazing Bjork play live. It was a magical gig, full of crazy outfits, gorgeous songs, lasers, confetti and an all women brass band she called "The Wonder Brass" - nice!
Mischa Barton took a break from those photo ops she loves so much to spend some time with her boyfriend overseas. Her man Taylor is touring Europe with his band Rooney, which has been opening for Good Charlotte. We already heard that Paris wasn't that psyched about having to hang out with Mischa backstage, but it looks like her troubles are already over, because Rooney is finished with its leg of the tour already. Sounds like another potential starlet catfight has been averted for now.
John Mayer went low-profile in his black hoodie leaving Katsuya last night, but we can't help but notice some new ink peeking out on his left arm. As it turns out, John went a little crazy at the tattoo parlor and inked up his whole arm. We knew that he had an affinity for tattoos, but John must really be feeling like a rock star these days. Wonder if his new sleeve will have any effect on the clean-cut nice girls he seems to like so much.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
