Ashton Kutcher narrowly missed getting run down by a truck on the set of Spread in LA on Friday. Since he plays a total womanizer in the film, we wouldn't be surprised if the person behind the wheel was one of the ladies burned by his character. Luckily it looks like Ashton got away uninjured — even if he plays a jerk in the movie, we'd hate to see anything happen to that good-looking face.

Lauren Conrad kept busy making her way around town and meeting up with friends over the past few days. The night out also included a run-in with Brody Jenner. There was a whole lotta tension between these two on last week's episode of The Hills, and these days it seems that there's still some bad blood. They both were spotted at Goa on Thursday night, but LC kept her attention to a new mystery boy while Brody hung with his boys. Apparently they didn't even say hello to each other, but that sounds better than the frosty reunion they had after Lauren got back from Paris.

Madonna put in her usual hours at the gym on Friday, and stepped out into the London sunshine clutching her BlackBerry. She's always been dedicated to her physical fitness, but did you know that she also has a very close relationship with her gadgets? Madonna even told Elle that she sleeps with her BlackBerry under her pillow every night! Can't say that this comes as a big shock to us — even when she's asleep, Madonna's work is never done.

We're loving that huge rare smile Ashley Olsen flashed the other day. She's wearing her favorite Fendi bag and her usual leather jacket. Her new line with MK recently hit stores and we have quite a few pieces on our wish list. Oscar winner Charlton Heston died tonight at his home in Beverly Hills at the age of 84. No cause of death was mentioned but his family released a statement saying:

"To his loving friends, colleagues and fans, we appreciate your heartfelt prayers and support.... Charlton Heston was seen by the world as larger than life... No one could ask for a fuller life than his. No man could have given more to his family, to his profession, and to his country... In his own words, 'I have lived such a wonderful life. I've lived enough for two people."
