John Krasinski tried to keep a low profile as he made his way through LAX with his BlackBerry on Sunday. There was no sign of his usual cute smirk, wonder if it has anything to do with the weekend box office results? Leatherheads didn't open with a touchdown, and had to settle for a second place tie behind 21. Good thing John didn't quit his day job — maybe the return of The Office this Thursday can help put a smile back on his face.
Rachel Bilson and her mom put on their best flouncy skirts for a trip to the grocery store in LA yesterday. After the lukewarm success of Jumper, Bilson's been laying pretty low, but it's always nice to see her looking all sunny with the fam. Unfortunately, there still hasn't been any big casting news about the Bils, but at least we've got her jeans line to look forward to this September.
Justin Timberlake piled on his Memphis gear and his favorite jewelry (wonder if it's a good luck charm?) to watch the Tigers take on the Kansas Jayhawks in the NCAA finals in San Antonio last night. Unfortunately the Tennessee native wasn't enough of a good luck charm, and Memphis lost in overtime after a nail biter. Justin may have been one of the many who narrowly missed winning their pools (congrats to Molly who won ours — woot woot!), but hopefully neither his hometown pride nor bank account was too badly bruised.
Britney followed up her family weekend with a visit and play date with Sean and Jayden in LA yesterday. The boys are getting so big but being carted around in their blue car is definitely reminding us of the old days before Brit lost her visitation rights. Even though her life is on the up and up, according to Mark Vincent Kaplan, Britney will have to keep her good behavior consistent for at least another month before she can have more time with her boys.
In other Britney news, Jamie is still searching for new projects for his daughter. The latest is that he's trying to team up with Danish celebrity broker Claus Hjelmbak to get Britney to promote a new line of imported furniture. His supposed partner is already denying the claims, but it would be an interesting change up from designing clothes and fragrances.
After penning a piece for The Huffington Post about an alleged extortion attempt by a former nanny for $1.5 million, Rob Lowe is suing three of his family's former employees for various offenses. The claims include stealing prescription medications and violating confidentiality agreements. — TMZ

Mischa Barton is set to accept a plea deal in her DUI case this week, meaning she will serve no jail time and instead stick to a fine and three years of unsupervised probation. The marijuana possession charges will also be dropped and the issue of her driving without a license will be "reduced to an infraction." She's been laying low since her December arrest, but after the string of starlet DUIs last year it does seem like she's getting an easy deal.
