George Clooney and Renée Zellweger teamed up for yet another magazine cover, looking friendly as ever but with a more clean-shaven Clooney. BTW, anyone recognize Renée's dress? These buddies have been having fun promoting Leatherheads from the Whistle Stop Express to the big premiere, but they're even more entertaining in their interviews. In Marie Claire, they kept the conversation to the movie and politics, with a quick Britney joke thrown in. Here are highlights:

- Renée on the on-screen chemistry with George during the filming of Leatherheads: "Oh, there's a natural comfort there, absolutely. But I was terrified - I didn't want to be the one who sucked in his movie. You'd much rather disappoint somebody you're not going to see again."
- George on Leatherheads' old-fashioned setting: "I have a great nostalgia for things that seem simpler. I know that they weren't. I'm sure it wasn't always 'the good old days' - people were dying of polio! I truly do understand the difference, but there was a clarity to the storytelling that I miss and I like. That's why I did Good Night, and Good Luck."
- George on wanting children: "I did try to adopt Britney Spears - you know, somebody with some cash to take care of me in my old age."
We doubt that Oscar-winning Renée has to worry about holding her own on the big screen, even with George. As for Britney Spears — Clooney is ever the jokester and she may not be rich, but he actually did find a PYT to help him down the red carpet.
Shia LaBeouf put on his best tough guy face to take some practice shots at the gun range in LA on Friday. Maybe he was just honing his skills for Eagle Eye? Whatever the reason, we're just glad he covered up that mess he calls hair with a baseball cap. His look for the Kids' Choice Awards was in need of some serious work, so let's hope he skips the shooting range and heads to a hairdresser before hitting the red carpet for all of the Indiana Jones promotions we know are headed our way.

Jessica Alba followed up her appearance at Saturday's Kids' Choice Awards with a big day of furniture shopping in LA on Sunday. Of course, since the woman needs to eat, she and fiancé Cash Warren stopped for meals before and after they hit the stores. Even though these two are putting the baby carriage before marriage, Jessica can pick up wedding tips — whenever it may be — at IDoSugar.

In other Jessica Alba news, who knew she had a pretty cute looking movie, Meet Bill, costarring Aaron Eckhard out in limited release this weekend? Yay for that.

Jamie Lynn Spears looked like an everyday teenager yesterday in Mississippi — only instead she's a celebrity, pregnant at 16 and carrying some baby belongings around. In her favorite phat lady shirt, no less. That's with a p-h, holla. Mmm, yeah, I think I fall into the still surprised to see Jamie Lynn pregnant category. Well, we've still got a few more months to get used to the idea of Jamie Lynn as a mom — and wife? — but I guess I should stop thinking I ever know what will come next from the Spears girls.
