Top Chef Quiz: Block Partay! Last night's episode of Top Chef was definitely a fun one. The chefs broke into two teams to create food for a block party. Even though I was a bit bummed to have another group challenge, it was neat to watch them cook for a crowd.
Fergie and Josh went out for a little pre-birthday dinner at Katsuya in Hollywood last night, and I gotta say Miss Fergie looked a little bleary eyed getting ready to ring in 33. Happy birthday, Fergie! I'm sure she loves that she has to spend her b-day week dispelling those pregnancy rumors — but she's doing it with a smile on her face. Sorry, Fergs. She told The Insider,
"I want to say this because I don't want people to think I keep getting pregnant and getting rid of these babies. No, I've never been pregnant! I'm 5 foot, 4, and I gain weight, basically, from the thighs up, so a couple pounds or a big meal and a bad picture at a bad angle and all of a sudden it's all over the place! ... I'm still getting used to saying the word fiancé! It's just a nice time. We're both working and living our lives together. It's a wonderful time. It's a happy time. We have to meet with the wedding planner and see!"
Well, I certainly love seeing these two together so I'll just sit tight and wait to see her in a wedding dress before holding my breath to see a baby bump.
New What Happens in Vegas Trailer Is . . . Almost Kinda Funny To be honest, I'd sort of brushed aside the Ashton Kutcher-Cameron Diaz rom-com What Happens in Vegas because from the trailer it struck me as vapid and charmless. This new trailer, however, is slightly better, I must admit. Diaz tiredly steps back into her kooky-goofball-hot-girl shoes as Joy, a woman who takes off for Las Vegas in a post-breakup getaway.
After earning his 100th cap on the field, David and Victoria Beckham went out to dinner at Baccarat in Paris to celebrate, and quite a night it was. David was greeted with applause when he entered the restaurant, where his extended family was waiting, and the meal ended with a soccer ball-shaped cake complete with sparklers. Fun! Sadly, the superdaddy's three boys didn't get to come to the midnight dinner, but I'm sure they'll get in some family party time while they're over in London.
Britney Spears proved to be ratings gold for her appearance on How I Met Your Mother this week, and she may already be lining up another small-screen gig. According to OK! Magazine, she might walk the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night. Apparently it's a secret and nothing has been confirmed yet, but tell us — do you want to see Britney at the Kids' Choice Awards?
The celebrating kept going long after the premiere of 21 in NYC last night. Kate Bosworth ditched her blazer and got giggly with her friend Helena Christensen, while Mary-Kate Olsen was looking adorable in her shiny belted jumpsuit. Elle Macpherson was also in the house, celebrating her new gig as as the next spokesperson for Revlon. All the celebs look like they're having a blast, and we can't wait to see if the movie is as much fun as its pretty cast.
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter which she wore with denim leggings and over-the-knee brown boots.
