David Beckham took the field with England in Paris today, and it was a huge game for Becks even though his team lost the friendly match. David earned his 100th cap while his whole family cheered him on from the stands. Always trying to make a fashion statement, he even put on a pair of fancy gold cleats for the occasion. Unfortunately Becks got a little too heated and was given a yellow card during the first half, but at the end of the day he should be feeling nothing but pride for his huge feat.
After partying away and putting her foot in her mouth in South Africa, Paris Hilton happily followed her boyfriend Benji Madden north to Munich today. They've only been together a few weeks, but they're already starting to look (or at least dress) like twins. Joel seems to be keeping a lower profile on the Good Charlotte tour while his girls are back home in LA. Paris may have left Africa for now, but it looks like she picked up some souvenirs and safari photo ops to remember her trip.
Michelle Trachtenberg was getting hard at work mastering her best b*tchface between takes on the set of Gossip Girl in NYC yesterday. Her character is on the show to stir up some trouble for Serena, and it looks like Michelle's got her bad girl essentials — tight liquid leggings, sassy heels, and lots of eyeliner. She's already a far cry from the rest of the super preppy cast, so we can't wait to see what happens when Michelle spices things up next month.
The Terminator Fires Dirty Harry Over State Parks
Well this only-in-California story involves Clint Eastwood, a Kennedy, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and environmentalists. Governor Schwarzenegger let go conservationist/ex-mayor/actor/director/producer Clint Eastwood from his position as a California park commissioner. Arnold's brother-in-law, Bobby Shriver, also got terminated.
Fresh off the lukewarm reception and box office numbers of Semi-Pro, Will Ferrell is already hard at work on his next project — a remake of Land of the Lost. It looks like he got himself a pretty great hat to help shield him from the sun baring down on the La Brea Tar Pits. While some of his shtick is a little predictable at this point, it should be fun to see how he brings this story back to life.
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter which she wore with denim leggings and over-the-knee brown boots.
