Clive Owen and Julia Roberts were in NYC yesterday, getting ready to start work on their upcoming thriller Duplicity. The pair, who also appeared together in Closer, star as a pair of corporate spies trying to pull off the ultimate con job, written and directed by Michael Clayton's Tony Gilroy. It may be part of getting into character, but this Hermes is a definite step up from some of her other recent bag choices. Julia's new darker 'do is growing on me, but anything looks good paired up with Clive's hotness.

Naomi and Alex were twinsies in their oversized white hats for a trip to the beach in Australia yesterday. Alex looks all cozy and happy in his little Baby Bjorn. Naomi's next movie, The International isn't due out until August, so she'll probably be headed back to the states with her boys just in time to catch another Summer season.

In typical Paris Hilton fashion, she bounced from one man to another — after her weekend of making a spectacle of herself with her shaman friend, Paris was back in Benji's arms by Monday afternoon. The couple grabbed some sushi and enjoyed the LA weather. Miss Hilton has been wearing a band on her ring finger basically since she started seeing Benji, but methinks it's just because she wants the attention. Even P knows it's a bit too soon to be getting married, right?

Tony Romo and John Mayer were both spotted out shopping separately in NYC yesterday before their big Cosmo event and after the celebration most of the men headed off to grab some dinner together. Aww to that (and also, side note: awww to Tony's Tiffany's bag there...lucky Jess?). John picked up some less-romantic gifts at Louis Vuitton and Burberry to keep looking so sharp. While we noted that Jess must love Fun, Fearless men since John, Dane and Tony were all chosen for the honor, Tony wasn't afraid to crack a joke about it. He said, "If you date Jessica Simpson, I guess you're fun and fearless." He also tackled those engagement stories, saying, "I mean, it's just rumors. That's what people say." While Tony seems to have a great sense of humor about everything, Jess avoided any awkwardness by staying home from the event. I don't think we'll be hearing wedding bells just yet, but Tony and Jess are definitely growing on me, you?

Kate Moss didn't look so happy making her way around London yesterday. It could be that Tatler just named Agyness Deyn Best Dressed of the Year, an honor that is usually reserved for Kate. She still snagged the No. 2 spot, but somehow it doesn't have the same ring as first place. We think that Kate still looks pretty fab these days, but women everywhere want to copy her look and her clothes at Topshop sell out so do you think she deserved to get demoted?

I was beginning to think we'd never have a quiet day in Britney Spears' world again and while we still may be jumping the gun, things are certainly looking up. Yesterday was another good one for the troubled pop star who stopped by a medical building with her dad before grabbing lunch. She was back in her red boots for the afternoon out, which is thankfully just about as exciting as things got (turquoise bra coming in second). Most of you seem to think she should take legal action against Heidi Montag for making that "duet" without permission but I can't say I'd blame her for wanting to stay away from the drama (and the court room) for a while. Plus, there are rumors that things are over with her and Adnan after she found racy text messages from another woman on his iPhone and proceeded to throw it in the pool for him. Who knows, but it would be a) funny and b) nice to see him go.

Mark Wahlberg gave a wave from the set of his new movie Max Payne in Toronto yesterday. In this film, he plays a cop who is chased by the police and the mob after being framed for murder. We love seeing Mark being a badass like in The Departed, but we'd love to see him take on a romantic comedy every once in a while too.
