With the Spears family seemingly on the upswing and both girls lined up for high profile guest starring spots on sitcoms, sometimes I forget that Miss Jamie Lynn Spears is about to be a mom. She and a friend were spotted in Kentwood this week grabbing some coffee beverages enjoying the warmish weather. You can still hardly see Jamie Lynn's baby bump under that flowy shirt, but there is so still another Spears baby on the way. At least JL's finally got a smile on her face.

George Clooney was back to work on Burn After Reading in LA today, but he's also been putting a lot of focus on humanitarian efforts regarding the crisis in Sudan. He donated $500,000 to a U.N. food aid agency to help out in Darfur, saying, "This is a critical time for the program. Without immediate additional funding, humanitarian aid in the region will be crippled." Of course, George isn't just throwing money at the problem — he's also been putting pressure on Omega Watches to take a stand about China's foreign policy with Sudan. The company is an Olympic sponsor with the Beijing games, and George is hoping that he will be able to use his position as a promoter for Omega to get them more involved with the situation.

In lighter news, George's girlfriend Sarah Larson is getting yet another perk of being Clooney arm candy. She'll be walking the runway as a guest model for Ashley Paige's show at LA Fashion Week. Oh, and it's a bikini line so Sarah should feel right at home showing some skin like back in her Vegas days.

Well, Pink certainly doesn't need to keep any man around for self-defense reasons. The singer showed off some serious guns pumping her gas in LA yesterday. Pink had a rocky start to 2008, announcing her split from her husband Carey Hart a few weeks back, but assuring everyone that the split was completely amicable. I would say that looking at these photos, the break-up may have hardened her a bit...but then again she's always been seriously badass.

Vanessa Minnillo and Brody Jenner may be beyond college age, but that doesn't mean they can't still enjoy a good tropical vacation with the best of 'em. Yesterday they partied it up and honed their volleyball skills at Miami beach for the “Rally at the Raleigh” event featuring models from Victoria's Secret. Brody Jenner looked more than happy to be interviewed by VS angel Miranda Kerr, and Vanessa had no problem vacationing without her man Nick. She said, “Miami is already a great Spring Break place. This is something good and fun for everyone to be involved in. Everyone is outside, having a good time, meeting people, being social, and it's good fun."
