Even though Dave pronounced her name "Ket Bakinsale" as she came in, Kate Beckinsale looked absolutely stunning on her way into The Late Show yesterday. In her interview she was delightful — seriously — keeping talk to wildlife outside her LA home, her daughter's love of the Beatles (so cute), her husband, and her movies. She even touched on the Eliot Spitzer scandal and how it would have gone down in the UK. Kate calls Snow Angels "poetic, lyrical nice," which only confuses Dave for a second — watch her interview after the jump.
Heidi Klum Launches Her Skin-Care Collection Is it just me, or is Heidi Klum everywhere lately? She's the face of Victoria's Secret, she's involved in heart-health campaigns, she's gearing up for another round of Project Runway, and throughout all of this she's taking her little ones out for playtime. Her latest endeavor is In an Instant, a skin-care line that she's hawking in infomercials.
Earlier this week, Britney was looking better pulling on her brown boots and puffing away on a cigarette outside her house. We were so excited to learn that Britney is going to make a guest appearance on one of our favorite shows, How I Met Your Mother — and we're even more glad to hear how well things have been going on the set this week. Apparently Britney has been nothing but professional, and she's having a fabulous time. She said, "Working at How I Met Your Mother has been so terrific. Everyone, including the cast, the crew, and the producers, has been wonderful and Abby is such a fun girl to play. I'm having a blast!" As the icing on the cake, the castmembers Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segel, and Neil Patrick Harris can't seem to stop singing Britney's praises! Maybe they can make it into a recurring role?
Horton Hears a Who: Sweet and Surreal Seuss Turning a classic children's story into a mass-market, big-screen movie is always a risky proposition. So many never live up to the promise of the original — or, worse, change it into something unrecognizable. But luckily, Horton Hears a Who is on the other end of that spectrum.
The girls from The Hills sure do love their fashion lines. We've already seen a bunch from Lauren Conrad's collection, and today Heidi unveiled her discount designs from Heidiwood. Guess Whitney was starting to feel a little left out because she announced today that she's going to launch a line of her own for the Fall season. We'll have to wait to see what Whitney comes up with, but for now, tell us — would you rather buy Lauren's clothes or Heidi's?
Adam Brody was Yawny McGee making his way through LAX yesterday afternoon. A little Friday morning Manjoyment for you all. Aside from that, though, it was Seth Cohen at his finest with the plaid shirt, pea coat, skinny pants, and Wayfarers. Kind of a uniform these days, eh?
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter, denim leggings, and over-the-knee brown boots.
