Paris Hilton threw herself and, well, herself a party to celebrate the official announcement of her new MTV competition show, Paris Hilton's My New BFF in LA last night. Well, to be fair, Benji Madden was there to support his super serious girlfriend's new endeavor. While P selected some lucky people from her MySpace friends to come to the party, it looks like anyone can try out to be her new BFF or vote for who you think should be at the show's website, ParisBFF.com. Um, so who's trying out? And how ridiculous is this show going to be?
Spotted: two of the stars of our favorite guilty pleasure getting back to work on the set of Gossip Girl! Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford took a break from their lives of perfect hair and makeup to shoot what looks like a very stormy scene. We can't help but make some speculations about where our elite high schoolers will take us next (will Blair get her wish for a reunion with Nate?), but these photos are a fun teaser for new episodes to come back next month.
Reading Is Fun With Parker And Lauren! Two of my favourite actresses – Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose – are starring in an upcoming series called The Return Of Jezebel James, which premieres in the US this week. I'm really hoping I love it, however Buzz isn't too sure about the pilot.
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz took a break from the drawn out doldrums of Winter and hopped off to Jamaica for some fun in the sun on Monday. Ashlee showed off her smokin' bikini body (seriously, lucky girl doesn't seem to be much of a gym rat) pool side, keeping the sun off her face with a fedora the whole time. Hopefully Pete knows how fortunate he is to have such a PYT hanging off him in the pool. You all seemed pretty split on Ashlee's Us Weekly plastic surgery admission, but there's no doubt that she's a) happy b) smitten and c) looking great these days, so yay for Ash.
America's Next Top Model Quiz: "Where’s the Beef?" Last week on America's Next Top Model, Allison's "tude" was her demise, so you'd think with one controversial girl out of the loft, there'd be more love and less hate this time around. Not the case on Wednesday's episode, as yet another shouting match broke out in the house, this time about nakedness in the shower. That's a slight improvement over last week's fight over butt size, I have to say.
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter, denim leggings, and over-the-knee brown boots.
