After a rumor-filled weekend in Miami conveniently coinciding with possibly on-again boyfriend Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson was in NYC yesterday with the two men who will always be in her life — Ryder and Chris Robinson. She and Chris aren't married anymore, but she's always made sure to keep things amicable for Ryder's sake, and how could you deny that he looks happy with both mom and dad? He is such the spitting image of Chris, it's crazy. The circumstance may not be conventional, but they're still one of our favorite Hollywood families.
The Waldorf-Astoria in NYC rocked last night to welcome the newest class of inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Madonna looked happy to accept the honor and while Guy Ritchie wasn't around, her Hard Candy collaborator Justin Timberlake was there to help celebrate. Fellow inductees include John Mellencamp and Leonard Cohen. Madonna didn't sing, but she did ask Iggy Pop to come and play which he did with no shirt (of course). On stage Madonna said, "Thirty-five years later, people are still encouraging me to believe in my dreams. What more could I ask for?" While Justin took a shot at a certain ex, "The world is full of Madonna wannabes. I might have even dated a couple, but there is truly only one Madonna." Seems a little unnecessary of JT, but congrats to all the new Rock and Roll Hall of Famers!
In typical Madonna fashion she kept things risqué even without any racy performance — she joked on stage about telling JT to drop his pants to give him a B12 shot and her past drug use including "smoking a joint" when she met her publicist Liz Rosenberg and taking ecstasy with a music exec after giving him her first demo. Yeah, I don't think 50's going to slow her down any at all.

It was just another day at the beach for Jen, Owen, and their doggie co-star on the set of Marley and Me in Miami. We already know that these two are making the most of their fun in the sun time with post-work martinis, and Jen also found time over the weekend to hang out by the pool and hit the stores before dinner at Blue Door at the Delano. Owen has also hit various hot spots at night but during the day he spent his time doing research at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel newspaper. He and Eric Dane's visit made many of the surprised ladies swoon.
Big day for Britney yesterday! It started with some boring legal bill stories and then we got very excited with the news of the How I Met Your Mother guest appearance. Even NPH was shocked about it. He told ET this about Britney's upcoming role, "It is very not like her at all in real life in any of her previous chapters. She plays the secretary to another girl that Ted is after. So, it will be very unlike any Britney we have seen before." To top off the day Ms Brit has earned herself an allowance and it looks like she is already putting it to good use with some new extensions. The pop star was spotted last night looking clean and fresh but somewhat sad when she headed out for a sushi dinner. It must be weird being a millionaire who once flashed a black Amex card, to all off a sudden have a limited $1,500 a week allowance. Well, at least it's another day in the right direction for Britney.
Nicole and Joel took a break from gushing over their precious Harlow for some fresh air, alone time, and a stroll to Starbucks over the weekend. The proud parents were beaming and their daughter isn't the only thing to celebrate — today is Joel's 29th birthday! Nicole must be planning something fun since she was spotted yesterday picking up some treats at a party store. We bet this birthday will be particularly special now that he has two beautiful ladies to share it with.
Rachel Zoe was photographed walking down Robertson, Starbucks in hand, looking ready for some serious shopping. She looked chic in her round sunglasses and Chanel bag, which she wore with of-the-moment thigh-high boots, a denim Current/Elliott biker jacket, and printed scarf.
